Alpha Flight #81 : Spirit of Time and Space
Regaining the Talisman, here she summons the Spirit of Time and Space and commands it to do her plan. She sends it to gather a depowered Aurora, Purple Girl/Persuasion, Laura Dean w/Gobyln and to send them to Asgard to get Northstar. After the Spirit gathers them, it makes sure Laura Dean's portal only opens to Asgard and no where else. Talisman could summon the Spirit of Death and kill you right on the spot.

After Talisman was attacked in a mall, the Sha'r broke free. The Talisman was the one who first banished the Sha'r and locked them away in an empty dimension and the the Talisman is their jailer. After Gamma Flight is knocked out by the Master, Talisman telepathically links everyone together and awakens them to reveal them the plans on how to banish the Sha'r once again. Sasquatch wears the Talisman, since Sasquatch has Snowbird's old body. A goddess, she can wear the Talisman and channel some of the mystic forces, but the Gods will take notice. Sasquatch knocks out Gobyln, Guardian II and Madison Jeffries with the Talisman. Elizibeth regains the Talisman and can sense where Dreamqueen is and feel her thoughts

The one true Talisman has returned and is about to do battle with the Dreamqueen. The giant dragon is called Jade Dragon and is an ally of Alpha Flight, often times people even state he is a member. Anyways this is China Force's first apperance. You can't tell me Alpha Flight is weak or they don't have strong enemies. Good old Talisman is a beast. About Talisman, "she wears a circlet of mystical power about her head..it makes her more powerful than the Dreamqueen herself"

Snowbird is pregnant and they have to take her to a place of power in order to deliver the baby. However, Talisman set this up as a trap and her arrgoance became her weakness. Her hatred of her father and unwillingless becoming Talisman prevented her from fully unleashing her actual power. Thankfully later in the series she forgives her father and unleashes the full power of the Talisman. Major error Talisman powers work on ALL evil, not just spirits that's her powers and even without the Talisman she still has strong magical powers. Oh well it's a major error, but the writer at the time wanted to change the lineup.

X-Men/Alpha Flight #2 (Vol.1): Talisman I
Here the inexperienced Talisman's power is still so great she easily cancels Loki's spell that altered humans into gods. As noted her powers cancel out magic, even such as Loki's. She cancelled out the Fire Fountain. Loki's spell was destroying the magic in the land nearly killing Snowbird and Shaman, but his spell never worked on Talisman

Talisman is probably my favorite Alpha Flight member/ Congrats.

Much appreicated, what's nice is she's the new leader of Omega Flight and has currently Shaman's medicine pouch as a new tool. So look out for monster feats coming from her.

I just began reading some older Alpha Flight comics, they've been very good thus far.


I seem to like the older issues better then the newer AF related material, but that's just my overall taste in comics.

It's the reapperance of Talisman, yet the artist actually forgot to draw the Talisman of Power on her, ha! Here she mentions to Crimson the S.H.I.E.L.D mystic she knows the spell to cure Wendigo, which he is shocked to hear. We don't see them fight, but Talisman continues to explain what the Wendigo is.

Omega Flight #5 of 5: Tanaraq
Walter has been influenced by Tanaraq so Talisman works with Walter to remove Tanaraq from him and seal him into Shaman's bag forever. Wether that remains is to be seen, but why she is all of a suddent saying she is weaker then she once was I have no idea where that's coming from. Most likely to try to keep her on par with current Strange as he is limited now as well.
