If sex felt like a cactus in the ass less people would do it. Making it feel like this gives you rape, teen pregnancy, promiscuos people and a whole load of porn industry. If it wasn't for the orgasm I'm willing to bet their would be a lot less people in the world. There would also not be abortions or any of the above. Well unless people aborted because of defects. The adult human female is unique in the animal world in that hers is the only species (so I've heard) where the Female Has an orgasm. In the rest of the animal kingdom, nature relies on seasonal estrus to make the advances of the male "worthwhile" to the female...and even then, some females (eg, lionesses) don't make it easy.

The evolutionary purpose of orgasms

I think if there was no organism, God would still be working with Adam and Eve, 64 million years later, still hanging around and hating each other.
