I was just wondering what kind of political views the people here at KMC have.

I'm such a moderate it's sickening, I am the epitome of moderate!

Can't decide. Usually Classical Liberal I guess. Libertarian. Maybe Rational Anarchist. With slight fascist influences...kidding of course, I just plain don't like black people.

Anyways i'm not liberal, seeing as i'm more a centre in this country and liberals are actually the right winged party here... The only thing I agree on with liberals is the economical views, which the other party's just don't seem to understand.

Well it just really depends.. All political party's in Holland have views that I disagree on. I guess i'd be more of a liberal because i'd vote for a paryty that could actually run this country's economy. But they limit freedom to much and can be to hard on immigration at times... In that aspect i'm more of a socialist, although then again I do think people need to find a job and if they can work they should...

It's just that all political party's suck.

The problem is that liberal views in the old fashioned sense are hardly existent anymore in parties....they are all mixes of different ideologies.

It's still only a two horse race though to be honest.

Certainly on the national level, as long as we have out wonderful plurality method of election, like your nation, we will have a two party system. Actually, we have about a 2.5 party system according to political scientists....so were less majoritarian than the UK

"less majoritarian than the UK"? You realise that the UK has 3 major Parties? Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrats. Each of these 3 parties (Less Labour because of the whole Blair thing) have the potential of getting into office at the next general election. It'll probably be the Tories though, well... When they actually come up with some policies.

Seriously - I am practical and technically moderate in terms of politics. I vote for the party that is presenting the best policy and that I believe will do the best for the nation, not on preconceived moral lines.

Still, My vote usually goes to the Labor Party - since they are more socially liberal, and as such their policies strike me as more more beneficial to the nation in terms of progress. That, and the Liberal party is dishonest and far to conservative - there stance on everything from stem cells to foreign relations. I mean really.

And now John Howard wants to reintroduce Chaplins into schools to see to students "spiritual needs if they so desire" - millions of dollars that are needed in numerous other fields (education, recuritment etc) are being considered for a policy to emply chaplins in schools. Gah. With any luck it is end up on the cutting room floor as it isn't recieving a warm welcome from the public or government.

I am really too undecisive...

I'm a Libertarian, but usually end up voting Republican.

If I had to vote for a US party it would probably be the greens... All other party's suck ass.
