The good side rules becouse it has luke skywalker thats why eek!

General G
I never liked Luke, he was really whiny and annoying, it really bugged me, everything else about the OT was awesome, they just should have made Luke better in my opinion.

--Dark Side Rules, Good Side Sucks--

queeq
Luke's not as bad as his dad though.... and Luke stops whining in ROTJ... Anakin never does.

Tangible God
I hate Jar Jar, Anakin and Padme that's why I don't like the PT much.

Anyway, Good Side pwns, because in the movies, Good Side won.

What are the odds!? That is exactly why I don't like the good side! stick out tongue

queeq
I dunno... on the Dark Side everybody dies.

coolmovies
Not really luke saves Darth vader from the dark side

queeq
And then he dies...

coolmovies
Dies on the Good side !!!

queeq
He starts dying on the Dark Side.

coolmovies
he dies on both sides then

queeq
He is fatally wounded as a darksider... Luke remains and is a lightsider... Yoda dies of old age... I'd say the good side rules.

Tangible God
Didn't he return to the Light once he made to pick up the Emperor? 'Cause he was wounded WHILE doing that.

queeq
Heck no... didn't you hear his terrible breathing after Luke cut his hand off? Something went pretty wrong there... Seems Palpy finished him off...

Besides, he died because of being evil... that brought him in that position. Turning to the light side couldn't save his life anymore.

Tangible God
Well yeah, he was an evil bastard for 23 years, and being evil put him in that position, he'll never be fully redeemed. But, canonically I've heard again and again that in the instant he made to save Luke from Palpatine, he returned to the Light, and died because of that act. You know, the whole lightning thing.

queeq
Who cares... Light side rules.

coolmovies
It was the lightning that did the damage not luke chopping his arm off

queeq
He was breathing rather badly after that fight...

Tangible God

Alliance
This thread makes me sick

The Saga is about Jedi vs Sith. not Sith vs "good people"

Both the Jedi and the Sith are too wrapped up in pointless hypocrisy and misguided ideology to see straight.

Luke looked and sounded kind of tired too, if I remember correctly.

queeq
Yup, but lived to see the day.

General G
He didn't go through as much as Vader/Anakin though.

Sesse
It was him falling down first.
Even dropped your laptop from the table? It might break from the fall...

Lightning ****ed it up even further.

coolmovies
I told them it wasnt the fight between vader and luke that made him breath badly it was the lightning !!

Sesse
Says you.

queeq
HE died... that is all.

Why didn't Vader's face melt like Palpy's did?

coolmovies
what are u talking about ?

I think that was due to Sidious's over use of the dark side, not the lightning, it may even have been his actual features that he has been hiding from the Jedi but had no need to hide it naymore and it helped Anakin help him.

Sesse
Its ironic as they used Fascism as an inspiration when designing the "evil empire".

Im sure that the next would-be worldruler will take his inspiration in turn from Star Wars.

The clone scene in the ending of AOTC is something that might just inspire some Hitler of the future.

So good rules in movies, evil in reality.

queeq
The clone scene ending is how all powerlusted rulers work and have worked. There are plenty of real life inspirations to do that kind of thing.

Because of his father's help!

He is redeemed before he dies.

Dark Side was not the real reason for his death.

His decision to save his son proved to be fatal for him and Emperor's lightening did the job.

So his decision to return to light side actually placed him in a difficult position.

vintageSW77
yeah twas the lightning

Tangible God
It was the Light Side that drove him INTO the Lightning that killed him.

Well, Grievous kin of can be referred to the Dark Side, he worked for Sidious (Dark Lord of the Sith) as well as Dooku, he worked for the Dark Side organization (CIS). So, in a way, he can be referred to the Dark Side if you look at it from a certain way.

queeq
From a certain point of view again?
