Hey guys I decided to write this for fun, all comments are welcome.
Synopsis of the Rise and fall of Ed Gien
The man whose murders shocked people around the world as a young boy Ed Gien was bullied and teased by others but would soon become the vicious killer who used his own victims skin as tables shade, and clothes. The rise and fall Ed Gien tells the story of how a misunderstood young boy with a dark past grew up to become one of America most infamous criminals.

I thought Ed Gien Psychoticness came from having an overbearing religious fanatic mother?Wasn't he the basis for the dude in Psycho?
Napkin Thief
Wow Psycho to? Tobe Hopper said Ed Gien was the inspiration for his original Texas Chainsaw Massacre's cannibalism. As a boy he was terrified from the news reports describing what investigators had found at the Gien farm.
My opinion is that Ed Gien's bullying as a child does not excuse his choice to murder people and turn them into furniture... no matter how soft the leather...sorry. But his psychosis was probably influenced by both environmental stress i.e. bullying, mommy issues, and a hereditary predisposition to kill without remorse or consideration for the victims whose lives he was ending.
We're frightened by monsters like Gien b/c they're different from us at a fundamental level.

Ed GIen is the basis for a lot of characters in horror movies.

sorry, don't feel like reading that

Ultraman Baltan
He wasn't misunderstood. He was a monster. I am sorry for his horrible childhood life, I really am, but that can never justify skinning people and torturing them. To do that was pure choice. A sick and twisted choice.
Napkin Thief
Ed Gien's crimes fall in the realm of madness. The weirdness of them suggests someone with severe mental illness. I don't know though... as much as his crimes disgust me he doesn't come across as wantonly evil i.e. Ted Bundy.
