Cap without his shield is STILL 100% effective.

There is an issue of Captain America where he has his shield taken away from him and he has to fight the death throws. The death throws are peak humans that specialise in thrown weapons. Cap simply adapted and didn't get hit once.

We also know how talented humans can even give Spiderman trouble, so for Cap not to get hit once shows how good he is.

In h2h Shang Chi beats Batman about as easily as Shiva or Dragon would and he could maybe stalemate a shieldless Cap... maybe. What about Nightwing though? He is the weak link, in h2h he can't get the majority of wins against anyone of these characters. Rearange the teams so it is Batman and Shang Chi vs. Captain America and Nightwing.
