That's what you get when you ask Google to define Religion. It doesn't state anywhere in any of the religions that there has to be a certain amount of believers for it to be a religion. As every religion started off with only one believer. There is no point in which a belief turns in to; a religion. As soon as someone believes it is a religion tthen it is infact a religion.
There are 2.1 billion Christians yet only 1 million Neo-paganists. Does this make Christianity more of a religion than Neo-paganism? Just because it has more bible bashers? No. It's as much a religion as any religion. Rastafarianism has 600,000 does that make it not quite a religion yet? No. The amount of believers a religion has does not constitute whether or not a religion is a religion or not. Damoism is a religion whether anyone likes it or not it shouldn't be brushed aside due to lack of followers. When Christianity has but one follower was it brushed aside? Yes. But people came to believe

What the f**k?

What's your point?

My point is it's a religion. And shouldn't be tossed in to OTF. Be gone mortal.

Religion is difficult to define. Definitions of religion are either too narrow and exclude many of the belief systems which most people will agree are religious, or they are too vague and ambiguous, leading one to conclude that just about any and everything is actually a religion.

If you want to make a thread about defining what is and is not a religion, then do so. But the threads you are creating are personalk exercises of little value that belong in the OTF. Don't make more of them.
