Doesn't make them right. Each Ultimate title shares the same universe and continuity. All Star titles are totally separate from each other. It's basically another way of saying Elseworlds.

Jimmy Olsen is doing some experimenting with the underverse (which is where Black Kryptonite is created), and the massive ammount of gravity destroys the machine and Jimmy starts to fall into the void:

Ok I'm a little confused here... I thought that Superman Prime was the current Superman after sitting in the sun for hundreds of centuries. How can the current Superman, advanced to the future, be there to meet himself if he should really be Superman Prime?

Someone please explain this, I'm lost. I thought if it was Superboy, he was killed by Superboy Prime, so how the heck are there two Supermans in the future?

The bandaged Superman was from the NEAR future.

They were technically the same person, but just from different points in time.

Just so everyone is clear on this....

The above scans from the latest issue (All-Star Superman #6), were a flashback Supes had from when he was younger.

This means that he wasn't powered up by solar radiation at that particular time, which makes all of his above feats MUCH more impressive IMO.

The Guardians send Superman on a special mission to preserve the Galactic Balance of Nature. Superman is not at full powers in these scans as the part of the Galaxy he is flying through is full of red stars.
