for all of u who've read betrayal(legacy of the force)...i find it a bit weird that the govt allows jacen 2 let ben...a 13yr old kid 2 accompany him on such dangerous missions..even though ben and his dad were all for it...wasnt there any protocol preventing a minor from going on such missions...i mean jacen wasnt even that powerful 2 take his independent decisions at that time..

It might have to do with the fact that Ben Skywalker is a Jedi, not to mention a Skywalker.

Also, Jedi Knights begin training at the age of 13 as it is.
