His suit looks more blue than black. But I guess they had to do this to achieve the right lighting effect they were aiming for for this poster...

Great effects! I see they redid the colors of Spidey again, its redder than usual.

I seriously like this poster, it makes you want to watch it more.

In the comics they make Venom look more blue then black.

Only in current comics. Originally, the blues used in drawings of Venom were just to show muscle definition and whatnot.
