Omega Flight vs Upcoming Thor

Which one are you looking forward to more?

Omega Flight.

JMS has screwed things up one to many times for my liking....

Omega Flight, Oeming has done incredible work from Blood Oath to Stormbreaker.

JMS is very versatile with the many titles he's done well; MAO has shown to be a specialist in mystical conflict stories with Thor, Beta Ray Bill and Ares, but nothing else. I'll wait to see how he handles a mainstream group of heroes with Omega Flight.

I don't know about U.S. Agent though

I've never liked him or his character.

I see him as the Guy Gardener of Marvel.

He's a paranoid , commie hat'n crazy ass Cap with class ten strength and bullet proof skin.

He even took out Ronan I think the tension between US Agent who is pro-registration and Archane who is against registration will be great.

edit: Oh also stated there will be more members on the team other than those shown in the teaser image. Who they are is yet to be determined.

Once he gets a better code name and a better costume i'll think about it

Until then, he's just a Cap ripoff

Oliver Coipel has me looking forward to Thor more than JMS.

But, even though i don't really care for Kolins, i'm looking forward to Omega Flight more. Should be good.

I think they should put Toxin in there. He'd be a good additon.

Well he isn't being used so I suppose, but the rumors are that is past members of Alpha Flight. So it's probally Sasquatch or Puck.

It's offical, Omega Flight #1 is expected to be released in April.

I'd like to see Puck. Don't think they'd use Sasquatch though. They're already got their class 100 bruiser in Bill.

No I doubt they will use Sasquatch, as Oeming wants to bring Tanaraq back with the rest of the Great Beasts.

Still stumped on how BRB's origins are connected to Alpha Flights.

Yeah, Master's cool. Wouldn't mind seeing an updated design on him though.

I'm glad to hear that the old members will be getting some focus early on. It's been ages since the Collective arc and we've had no mention of them.

Doubtful. I bet he probably wanted to go to Canada to find peace with himself. That or Civil War threw him there. He would probably be wondering why a country full of heroes that owe him their lives could turn on each other like that.

Beta Ray Bill didn't need a new costume. What he wore at the end of Stormbreaker was pure hotness.

Confused by the Wrecking Crew though. They're popping up everywhere these days. Plus, does Wrecker even have the crowbar anymore? Maybe it's a flashback. I hope not.

Don't know, but I think it's a scene of how all the villians are fleeing to Canada now. On the first page we see someone drinking looking over the recruit pics of Archane and US Agent, probally Walter still emotional from New Avengers #16

And Bendis said at one point we might see Cage wielding it. But i just remembered he did have it in Excalibur recently so i guess he got it back somehow.

I really hope it's Walter. If he's there, and Shaman makes it back at some point, i'll be very happy.

The person drinking above did have glasses and looked remorseful, so oh baby I hope it's Walter. Also I think it's pretty much assumed SHaman is dead, and that's why Talisman returns and apparently takes his sacree medicine pouch. However, he still will become an advisor just like what Shaman's grandfather who died did for him.

I honestly don't know, for all we know it could be the temporal copy of Mac...unlikely. It better be a Canadian inside the armor though. I had no problems with americans joining Alpha Flight as they have done with the original team, but an American Guardian? bah! they already have Captain America.

Yeah, Bills costume from the end of Stormbreaker had him looking like a king.
They really need to bring that one back.

Vast improvement over this one. Its too much like Thors costume, but made 90ish with all the metal and sharp points.

Well it looks like he is going back to his cyborg roots, but the color I find is awful not the design.
