Trigon has also Never Destoyed the main DCU. He may have encountered no resistance in his efforts. Also, DS is able to obtain more power as he is shown being able to absorb pantheons of power. He also collapsed a fifth of a universe onto itself. (inthe cinque of power). So I rated him higher. I really dont' know how Trigon would face against DS and Vice Versa. I just went with DS since DS was able to Shake the cosmos, and help fight against the Anti-life. I also forgot to put the quantum mechanics on the list.

In order to have her place, would imply that she was Multiversal in power as was he. Why would he want to go down the chain if she's only Universal? Unless I'm right and she is Multiversal. What's in a title when your powerful enough to just take it? It had to be something more. Her title must offer extra power or something.

No, did you read the series? Dominus and Kismet were students and one was to be choosen to ascend to that position. Dominus was sure it would be him and she was picked instead. It's rivalry and jealousy, nothing more.

He loved her. And he attempted to steal her power and position. He then got his power from an old krypton dude. can't remember the name. I know they were both multiversal but I'm sure he wanted to add her power to his own as well as the title.

It was more about the title then anything. And his power was still greater then hers.

sorry, haven't figured out spoilers... so


the Great Evil Beast, after being awakened, destroys the armies of hell who were opposed to it just by stirring from his sleep. The Phantom Stranger, the Demon Etrigan, and the Spectre go up against him. The first two are defeated without even a concern from the Great Evil Beast after he questions them... the GEB had never really been aware or alive before, so he immediatly wanted to know what was around him. The Spectre approaches him, and despite his truly enormous metaphysical/corporeal size, he is only the size of his thumb... finally, Swamp Thing confronts him, and when he offers understanding and a willingness to speak with the GEB, the GEB goes on to merge with the Presence, making the world less orderly but also more potent and alive, the same way the crisis "diluted" the main time stream, but made it so much more interesting in many ways. It's not canon in the main DCU, being a vertigo book, but it's one of the best pieces in comics. Sorry for going on so long, I'm just a huge fan of Alan Moore's Swamp Thing.

However, Hell and Heaven have seen retcons since then, and we can only chalk that up to "Corrigan's perception", as defined in Spectre volume 4.

Morrison's was geniusly crafted from start to finish, with the way the story just fell into place. All the odd moments of the beginning of the series just unraveling in the final issues.

Morrison's Animal Man had a soul that few writers can give to a comic character... That's what made him so appealing to me.

In the final issue, Morrison even admits that he used Animal Man and his abilities to voice some of his own personal opinions about the world he lived in --- Genius.

And comics back then weren't quite as feat oriented as they are today... They were more about the quality of the story itself, .

Well I imagine it's part of the Crisis and those Aliens will probably have to rework the matrix or whatever that powers all the animal totems or whatever shit that shroom-head was writing.
