Powers/Abilities: The Maxx is stronger and faster than regular humans. His arms are topped with claws that are raised from the back of his hands. These claws can cut through pretty much anything he is strong enough to drive them into, and cannot be broken. He wears an apparently living mask, which crawls round his face, and bites those who try to touch the enlarged teeth. Being magical, his costume mends itself when damaged, and it's unclear as to whether or not his own injuries heal in the same magical manner

re: stronger and faster- this has never been shown to be true. the ONE time he went up against a superhuman ( And a "D" list one at that..Mako from savage dragon) he ran for his life.
He also wasn't strong enough to unstick his claws when he GLUED them shut the same issue. Powerhouse he aint.
that SAME issue again, he was knocked the F out when he accidentally lit a spark that ignited some flammable solvent and it exploded.
The mask is nothing special- it was originally part of a lamp that got stuck in a dimensional rift, and changed to reflect julie's outback, just like maxx's memories.
I love the maxx. it's one of my favorite comics of all time, but the Maxx is NOT a superhero. Its funny, because in contrast to the scan above, Maxx is USUALLY drawn as being hunched over with a pot belly.
