So what's your favorite sandwich ?

I like a baked italian sub with all the trimmings. Hot peppers too.

well mine's easy
ham, a lot of mayo, tomato's, pickles, salade, hard boyled eggs, rasped carrots

my faivourite is the one i makie myself. Hear this.
You take a loaf of bread, u cut it in half. You get all the middle out and place whatever you want in there....whatever u want. then u microwave it for 40 seconds

Over here they serve cold spinach salad with hot bacon dressing. The bacon dressing is one of those Pennsylvania Dutch things.

I like the roast beef sandwiches they serve at Togo's.

At the moment, my favorite sandwich is Roast beef and cheese, but I usually have Ham and cheese

Smoked turkey is good on pumpernickel.

oven focaccia with roasted peppers and pesto sauce.

I just had a good sandwiche at Claim Jumper. REALLY big though. Bother halves were bigger than my fists!!!

Yes that's a nice one, but the focaccia should be with rosemary and you can have other roasted veg, like courgettes(Zuccini) and Aubegines(Egg Plants) and mushrooms(mushrooms).

I had Quattro Formaggi Pizza with Black olives.

I love black olives. The have an olive bar at one of our grocery stores here. Like 10 different kinds of olives.

Only 10 different kinds, and what would be wrong with the others?

I guess its an olive variety/general olive-eating population ratio thingy.

Have you tried Black Olive Ciabatta bread with mozzarella, tomatoes and basil? It should be warmed too.

OMG, it sounds killer. You can also get toppings for bruschetta bread on this bar thingy. And fresh mozarella. The real stuff.

I like to make my own pico de gallo and salsa. We grow roma tomatoes and hot peppers just for that.

It's a good job I've eaten already or I'd be getting real hungry now, how about you?

Well I do remember starting a thread some time ago dedicated to my discovery of the ultimate sandwich. This was ham, cheese and tomato.

BUT!!!! you have to put the tomato between the ham and cheese, that way the bread won't go soggy when left for lunch at work/school.

If its left overs though, you can't beat a chicken and mayo sandwich. Plain and simple but scrummy.
