Very decent bio, except they forgot to mention he has a personal shield, can fly, can project energy blasts, etc. He also isn't peak human, but enhanced human but still a decent bio. Last paragraph had a few errors the reason why he wanted Kang to attack the rest of the world was so he could decrease the population of the Earth as he felt there were to many. Heroes for Hire #1 (Vol.1):
The Master actually uses the technology of the Controller, who the Master captured earlier to control the Hulk and everyone belives the Controller is the real monster behind this. He uses the Hulk and the U-Men so they can put discs on the most brillant scientist to steal their knowledge. The Master planned it all out perfectly, even the Heroes for Hire and Hulk could do nothing to stop his plans

Heroes for Hire #4 (Vol.1):
The Master gives out orders once again to the U-Men along with the Controller sending them to be captured by the Heroes for Hire as a means of misdirection. The U-Men don't agree and threaten if they are captured to reveal to the team that Cage is a spy for him, so they attempt to blackmail the Master. Bad choice, he puts them into a coma when they try to escape scott free. Master even makes a comment about how he field-tested the Controller against Photon.

It's also revealed the Master has also been manipulating Jim Hammond (Human Torch I) the leader of Heores for Hire unknown to everyone. Guy is better than Doom, turning a defeat into victory

The final battle against the Master and Strike Force One against the Heores for Hire. Master shows Hammond is his slave and his Strike Force clones are equally skilled as their original, but better with the Master's intelligence. Of course Master doesn't die here, and what Cage did shouldn't have worked but oh well. White Tiger also explains she has had dealings with the Master in the past as well.

He did it by finding the villian Firebug somewhat volatile molecules drifting in the wind, so he gathered them all up and absorbed into his armor systems and used his power to it's full potential...badass

Oh I have haven't I ?

The reason I make AF respect threads is they don't get enough respect to begin with. Everyone knows all the mainstream characters, this is a way to diversify people with the non "mainstream" heroes. I only gotten into Alpha Flight just this year and by reading the series they definetly deserve more credit than they get.

I am not saying theyre not tough theyre just boring. They get as much respect as they deserve.

But I do like Box. That guy is badass. Oh and Puck.

Their far from boring, the series was ahead of it's time actually. The original series, not so much in vol.2 or at all in vol.3, but they were dealing with things such as A.I.D.S, homosexuality, rape, and various other things that were taboo for it's time and no one else touched on until many years later.

I mean the characters themselves. I never really took to them you know.

Some were horrible I will admit, but since all the characters such as Aurora with her multiple personalities, and Guardian who didn't want to be a hero in the first place worked well in a team book. Later their histories became convulted and confusing, but the original issues were incredibly written. It was also a unique take as opposed to other team books at this time where instead of having all the members in one issue, they dealt with individual member stories until AF #12 were they finally truely banded together.

The world is being attacked by Kang and his army from the future. The whole European continent is falling, and there is about to be a attack on North America. So who will step up and save the world against impossible odds? Alpha Flight? nope, X-Men? nope, Avengers? nope....The Master?...wait what? Master's weapons are the only thing on this planet that have been able to damage Kang's weapons. Master didn't get killed here, but his defeat was still bull as writer forgot he can fly and errr...has a forcefield.

The first #28 issues are gold, but when Bryne leaves the quality goes skyrocketing down.

Avengers #49-55 (Vol.3) : Avengers & Kang
Kang has taken over the Sentinel army meant to fight him and used it agains the world. Master's weapons are the only thing on this planet that have been able to damage Kang's weapons and the most brillant minds of the plant stuggled to understand it. Kang eventually takes over the world, but the Master's technology saves the day. Also no one steals the Master's technology. Washington would have been sparred as stated if Master was in control of his technology, as Kang attack was his technology just on auto.

Very decent bio, except they forgot to mention he has a personal shield, can fly, can project energy blasts, etc. He also isn't peak human, but enhanced human but still a decent bio. Last paragraph had a few errors the reason why he wanted Kang to attack the rest of the world was so he could decrease the population of the Earth as he felt there were to many. Ha! I only just gotten into Alpha Flight just this year. I'm a newb technically to their stories, but have basically read all their apperances now

Not many people hate them, just they don't know them. I barely knew about them and thought Wolverine could take them himself. Then I find out Alpha Fight rountinely takes on Elder Gods and skyfather beings. Oh lord.

No one handed Namor or Sasquatch their asses like that before. Master's underated.

Alpha Flight #3 (Vol.3): Origin
The Master can thank his creation due to the Plodex race, the super power race where even just one member (Marrina) battled against the Avengers including Thor, Namor and Captain Marvel (Pulsar) and was getting the advantage. Well this is the history of the ancient race going from their rise to dominance to extinction. Just to note this is the first time I have seen a Marrina pic where she actually looks GOOD. Ataboy Namor. Just to note the writers in Vol.3 did not research Alpha FLight much. The Plodex ship that was located in the arctic was destroyed in Alpha Flight #4.(volume #1), Marrina was not found in the arctic, she was found in Newfoundland when a fisherman fell out of his boat and found an egg at the bottom of water, Marrina was not that only egg that hatched
