Something like an english "Gettysburg" then?

Fire

and it prolly would have had greater consequences (but that's something I'm not sure of let alone something I can decide)

Billy The Kid
Well, could have been an Ok movie I guess

Fire

Billy The Kid
God and general...well, I hope its not four hours long! hehe

Ushgarak
Um... the Battle of Britain couldn't have been LESS like Gettysburg, really.

The film starred Michael Caine and was pretty good, with excellent music.

Fire
thx for agreeing with me

My teacher, when i did a Movie production design course at Pinewood studios, worked on The Battle of Britain as a designer. He has a remotley controlled Me 109 fighter in his office used to film some of the battle sequences.

The Film was a mix of live action and remote model work.

The big hangar that got blown up was going to be demolished anyway so the engineers timed their demolition charges with the 'bomb' detonations to make it look like it was really under attack.

Couple of bits of trivia for ya!

Ushgarak
The big hangar that got blown up was NOT going to be demolished anyway! It was a listed building at Duxford that the bloody film makers just blew up without permission, and it was an absolute disgrace! You can visit the site at Duxford still and see the site where it was and read about it.
