Mercenary Gauntlet
Here we go- For unknown reasons, various people, all experts in guns and combat are hired to take out a seemingly random gauntlet of teams.
How far do they get?
Team:
Domino- Two handguns, battle rifle and staff.
Bullseye- Deck of cards, 20 toothpicks, and ten knives
Deadpool- Two Katana, handguns, a battle rifle and two knives
Deathstroke- Standard blades, only conventional firearms.
David Cain- Standard blades, only conventional firearms
Agent Zero-Wrist-mounted plasma blasters, pistols with adamantium ammunition, Adamantium-coated knife, Sniper rifle loaded with "Anti-Metal" ammunition
Crossbones- Standard Handguns, crossbows and knives
Gauntlet:
1. SHIELD- Nick Fury, Maria Hill, 50 SHIELD Agents
Standard SHIELD equipment, only conventional firearms
2. The Hand- Elektra, 100 Hand Ninjas
3. Outsiders- Nightwing, Huntress, Katana, Thunder and Arsenal
Standard personal equipment, no explosives, etc.
4. Bat Family- Batman, Batgirl, Onyx, Catwoman, Orpheus, Batwoman
Batman gets all equipment from Batman Begins+ his usual stuff. All standard equipment. No vehicles, outside help, explosives, etc.
5. X-Men- Cyclops (no Omni-Beam), Wolverine, Beast, Gambit, Mystique
Normal Gambit, from before Apocalypse.
6. Weapon X- Sauron (no mind attacks/hypnosis), Wildchild, Marrow, Sabertooth and X-23
7. Heroes for Hire- Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Spider-Woman, Human Torch (no nova) and Black Cat
8. Sinister Six- Doc Ock, Lizard, Kraven the Hunter, Scorpion (Mac Gargan sans Venom), Shocker and Green Goblin
9. New York- Punisher, Daredevil, Captain America, Kingpin, Spiderman and Thing
For this match, each combatant in the mercenary team gets five minutes prep time choosing from any of the resources owned by the any of the people in the previous levels of the gauntlet. They have knowledge of who they’re about to battle. No high end explosives, no cosmic/magic/whatever items. Only standard battle firearms or equipment.
