Who would win between a full confident Gladiator and Hal fullfledged?
No BFR.
DigiMark007
Hal.
Almost every time. I'll give Glads maybe 2/10 because GLs slip up occasionally.
Loot
i give it to all too, hal can do whatever he wants with that ring, and he has will power enough to beat gladiator
Bentley
I know that Hal is powerful, but this is basically Superman with no discernible weakness. Yet he wins, why?
xmarksthespot
Because a GL can grant themselves telepathy, and telepathy does this to Gladiator:

Just one of many ways.
Bentley
Yeah, that would do it. Just checking.

Just one of many ways. High class telepathy on the level of Cassandra Nova/Xavier does that. Gladiator has mind armour that protects against psionics.
Regardless, Hal wins. Glads puts up a good fight though.
xmarksthespot
I don't see why a GL couldn't grant himself Nova level telepathy.

Lucid Lui
Show me case where it's it's been done and i'll happily agree.
xmarksthespot
Meh, I've seen a scan of Hal controlling a planet of people in the GL respect thread, I'm not sure whether it's pre- or post-Crisis though (or to what extent GLs were affected by COIE anyway).

Wasn't the mind armour only supposed to protect them from Phoenix Telekinesis?
Lucid Lui
Psionic armour is a standard with them i believe. Also, if it was just for the pheonix why were they talking about arming it just prior to to Nova's attack?

Hmm...good point...except...if the armour did protect them against telepathy...they wouldn't have needed to place that Anti-Telepathy helmet over Emma's head...when they came to the mansion?
Oh wait you were right I found a scan...saying it does...check this out...it's not very good though...

Here's the Telekinesis one..

Bentley
Well, if its an armor, GL can just transmute it and make it non-resistant to psionics, cant he?
Blair Wind
GL wins

Lanterns weren't affected by the crisis.

In which case Gladiator wets his silly romper suit.

snoopdogg
All GL feats be it Post or Pre Crisis are valid as far as I know also.

That's one of the things that make Lanterns so DEVASTATING in Tourney's.

http://img167.imageshack.us/img167/1351/newxmen12408hz3.th.jpg Bleh. I don't really buy that. Oracle herself is a mighty powerful telepath who took down the Maker (chick-form-Beyonder). Shouldn't have been that easy.
But... it did happen...

First thread bump!
carver9
Millionth thread bumped. Gladiator stomps.

I enjoy a good bump. Don't judge me.

The Sorrow
It's a shame Gladiator has so few appearances and so many low, or just straight up embarrassing showings that often overshadow his better ones. I used to think he was badass when I first saw him in that 90's X-Men cartoon, but then I started reading comics.

Then hulk? no.

Jmanghan
Glads tanked shots from Juggernaut without even Budging, telepathy aside, GL better act fast.
