Example is, they're man Mario games so which ones would you list as the one you enjoyed more.
I will start. I liked MGS3(And so far MGS portable ops which takes place after the events of 3) The story is interesting to see Big Boss changing to what he became in Mgs Solid. I also like MGS Twin Snakes alot.
Blah blah blah blah, The majority says MGS 2 is the best one out of the series but to me it was stinky

Wasn't interested in raiden's story to much and didn't care about the bad guys either and their story lol. So my Order is Tie Btween MGS Twin Snakes/MGS3/MGS Poratable OPs
Next is Sonic Series. Again people loved 2 the most lol but I liked 3 a little better than 2 and then 1 and 2 are tied for second. (The sega ones)
I iwll add more later

Phantasy star 4 - This one had elements of Phantasy Star 1 in it and good storyline with some rockin tunes.
Mario brother 2 - The princes can fly baby and it was the hardest of them.
Zelda 2 - Great side scrolling action with a mix of RPG.
Final Fantasy 6 and 7 tie - FF6 has a great storyling with a really good magic learning system tons of extra crap to do in the game and many peeps to be. Final fantasy 7 had the greatest story line of all time.
Dragon Warrior 4 - Switch from charaters as you go though the game then mix them all in the end was really cool.
Toe Jam and Earl 1 - best game of its kind

Castlevaina Syphony of the night - A perfect game, just needed to be long but still best game ever.
Super Metrio - super fun and super huge and super good graphics...for its time
Mario Kart DS - online play is fun as hell, except when people can snake.
Saturn Bomberman - 8 and 10 player battle is the most fun you can have with 8 to 10 people besides an orgy.
Golden Eye 007 - best 4 player battleing licence to kill style.
megaman 2 - Only one I pasted
Worms Armageddon - good multiplayer value.
General Kaliero
New Super Mario Bros. - Just like the classics, but with new moves picked up during the 3D games.
Sonic 3 & Knuckles/Sonic Rush - First appearance of Knuckles/Only worthwhile current Sonic
Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past - Best Zelda period.
Final Fantasy 6 - Best one of the series.
Star Fox 64 - Voice acting and control beats the original, gameplay beats the sequels.
Super Metroid - the epitome of all things Metroid.
Tales of Symphonia/Tales of the Abyss - Great story, acting, music, characters, everything/Great story, acting, music, characters, everything, but with a better battle system.

Tactics was good but it was too short and the end of the game sucked becuase you got too many badasses and had to leave out most of your party making all that leveling up pointless.

Twisted Metal 2... the only one that came close to it was Black...
I seriously loved the art direction in TM1 though.. very spooky
tis a shame they seem unable to combine the best of both worlds

Super Metroid--To hell with the best game of the series, this just might be the best game of its genre.
Metal Gear Solid 1--MGS2 was not a good game; I don't care if I'm the only person in the world who thinks this.
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night--Everything a Castlevania game should be
Shadow Hearts 2--Then 3, with 1 being the worse (but still good; kicks the pants off of all the recent Final Fantasy games). Actually, in technical areas such as combat mechanics, the series has been getting continuously better, but I feel 2 still has an edge on 3.
Mega Man X--Really, the first three were great. After that, it became sort of gratuitous.
Resident Evil 4--takes every thing that was good about the series, ditches every thing that wasn't; the result is one of the best games out there
Silent Hill 2--All the Silent Hill games have pretty poor gameplay (they need an RE4-style update), and some of the puzzles in 2 are just infuriating, but it takes it by having one of the best plots of any game, ever. In terms of scares, 1 would take it, with some great moments and reveals.
Clock Tower 1 (which is really Clock Tower 2, because they didn't release the SNES game in the USA)--I tried the SNES game in emulation and couldn't get into it, while 2 is one of the worst games I've ever played, so it's down to 1 and 3. And although 3 certainly has more polish (being a PS2 game where 1 is for the PS), I feel it lacks 1's charm. Cool cutscenes, though. I hear Haunting Ground was originally going to be an entry in the Clock Tower series; if it were, it would have taken it.
Lufia: Rise of the Sinistrals, for fun, vaguely Zelda-esque puzzles.
Zelda: Wow. This is a hard one. I know that some of the newer games have a lot of fans, but I still see this as coming down to Link to the Past or Link's Awakening; I'll give it to Link to the Past, although Link's Awakening gets points for a hard-hitting, bittersweet ending.
TMNT: I give it to Turtles In Time, although it may just be the nostalgia talking.
Mario: Super Mario World. And that's not nostalgia; it just so damn good.
The Suffering: The first game takes it. Ties that Bind was good, but the private army was annoying without being scary, and they lose major points for just retooling the monsters from 1 instead of doing anything genuinely innovative.
Chrono Trigger: I have never understood the extent of the praise heapen on this thing, and I never will. But it's sure better then Cross, where the only difference between the dozens of characters is what accent they talk with. Not that that's Cross' only problem.
Final Fantasy: I don't know; Tactics? I want to say 3 (or whatever people are calling it now) just on nostalgia value, but it's not like it didn't have major problems. Not 7; FF7 is right up there with MGS2 and Chrono Trigger in the ludacrously over-rated games department.
MadMel
super metroid - a classic
LOK defiance - this games rocks...it was very hard to pick this out of the series..
zelda, OOT/TP - out of the few zelda games ive played, these 2 stood out

MGS 1 - the only one ive played, apart from 2..i liked 1 better though..
twisted metal black - ive only played 1, 2 and black, and i like black the best..
LOOM - even though this wasnt a series, it should have been (bloody lucas arts ranting )
sonic 3 and knuckles - another classic..
final fantasy - ANY!!
goleneye - nuff said..
superbomberman 5 - robot dog who sh*ts out mines, bloody classic gaming, and awesome multiplayer makes this my fav bomberman..
super smash bros - no explanation needed...
((The_Anomaly))
Zelda: Currently OoT (but now leaning toward Twilight Princess, I'll wait till I finish it to decide) - OoT was just pretty much the best game ever made. Period.
Metroid: Metroid Prime - Sorry all you Super Metroid fans (of which I am one), Super Metroid was good, but Metroid Prime took everything that was good about Super and put you INSIDE Samus' world, in her suit, it put you there. I still rank Metroid Prime as my all time favorite GC game (and prolly my second favorite game ever), it was just masterful.
Mario: Super Mario 64 - This game defined 3D games, not only that its STILL an awesome game, and very addictive.
Star Fox: Hands down Star Fox 64 - This game ruled, and there hasn't been a good Star Fox game since....enough said.
Metal Gear: Metal Gear Solid 3 - This game was pretty much the best game I played since Metroid Prime, it and Resident Evil 4. 3 was far better then 1 and 1 was far better then 2. The free camera in the re-release made all the difference, one of the best games of all time IMO.
Resident Evil: Resident Evil 4/ Remake of RE1 on GC - Both are too good, I cant choose between them.
