Has anyone got the third?
Is it better than the first?
I want this..just wanted to know some things about how the rides are, for example, can you zoom right in on them and ride them?

Best thing to do would be to read reviews of the game. Usually, the critics give a really good detail impression of how the game plays.

Even better, check www.gamerankings.com, type in Rollercoaster Tycoon in to the search function...and read a few reviews to see how the game plays from perspectives.

I got the first one a few years ago and it had me addicted for weeks
Anyway, I remember getting a demo of the third one a while ago... just search it in google, its free
