What type of origin would most interest you.

I think of all the characters I have seen, batman, Wolverine and Spider-man's origin's are the coolest (Wolverine's being the great 2001 origin series, not his first appearance)

Batman's origin is the most realistic, so it's kinda neat to see what could happen in the realm of possibility.

I think Hulk's is pretty cool; and really, if you try to see it fresh, Superman's origin (not just that he's an alien, but that his planet exploded, he's the Last Son) is also a good one.

But my favorite (no surprise here) is the Surfer's. The idea of a planet-drainer roaming the universe; that "he" sends "heralds" to find the tastiest ones...this was way out stuff when SS first appeared. That someone pledges servitude to this force of nature to save his own planet; that he thus commits to a life which will condemn billions of sentient beings to death...we have it all: power, drama and maybe psychotherapy on a cosmic scale.

Spawn. Pretty damn hard to top Al Simmons cutting a deal with the devil and agreeing to war against god. Apocalypse is pretty damn good too IMO.
