Solo
November

We'll give this thread a while longer, since it's the holidays and a lot of us might not have had the time to go to the cinema. And most of the great films are still in an independent release. So if you haven't seen a great film just yet, no sweat, this'll be kept open for a while.

December
Inland Empire
Apocalypto
Blood Diamond
Pan's Labyrinth
Notes on a Scandal
Black Christmas
Eragon
Letters from Iwo Jima
The Painted Veil
Venus
The Holidy
Pursuit of Happyness
Charlotte's Web
The Good German
The Good Shepherd
Night at the Museum
Rocky Balboa
We Are Marshall
Children of Men
Dreamgirls

That's just a shorthand list of films in December. If it isn't on that list it doesn't matter, but it must have originally been released in December of 2006.

So Casino Royale totally dominated November right?

I just havnt seen enough of these movies yet so out of what i have seen I will say Balboa. But ive heard great stuff about some of the others ive yet to see.

Big time.

Children of Men, for me. Although, I'm sure Inland Empire will blow me away when I catch it on DVD this summer.

Solo
Bump.

Strangelove
I'll vote for Children of Men as well, with Dreamgirls in second smile

Rapscallion

The Core
"Pursuit of Happiness"

SnakeEyes
Apocalypto, hands down, IMO.

king leonidas
pans labyrinth was awesome

My vote would go to "The Departed" which was released in December over here, however not in the other countries.

if The Departed counts I wanna pick that haha. If not I still wanna change my vote from Balboa to Pursuit of Happiness. I just saw like 5 new movies in the last week and Pursuit definitely deserves the vote. (if its not too late)

Dusty
I didn't see anything last month.

Strangelove
You fail no expression

movie_freak
Blood Diamond gets my vote.

SnakeEyes
Apocalypto!

Lunch_Meat
Pan's Labyrinth

I think it's pretty obvious that Smokin' Aces will win for Jan., since theres nothing but shit releases this month lol besides it.

StinkFist462
apocalypto

Wickedone

Rocky Balboa hands down. Was a little skeptical about it but my favorite movie of all time is Rocky 1 and this just blew me away. Sly never gets old! Pursuit of happyness it also a good choice Will Smith deserves great respect after that one

I'd have voted for Children of Men, but I'm sure it came out last summer in the UK, especially since I already have it on DVD, so therefore doesn't count for me.

I'm going to have to go for Blood Diamond

MildPossession
I'm waiting for the region 4 release of Children of Men, comes with a nicer cover imo and 2 discs. Unless the region 3 edition comes with a better cover than the awful region 2 release.

It did come out here before it did in the US but I think it was a bit later than that. I just checked on IMDb and it came out in September. I haven't seen it sad I wanted to but I saw loads of films that month and couldn't fit it in.

My vote goes to Blood Diamond too. Or The Departed if that counts as other people were saying. I've only seen five of the films in the list so I can't comment on most of them.

Was I meant to vote in January? Oh well. Children of Men won anyway.

Tptmanno1
Pan's Labyrinth..
