Here GA fights Onomatopoeia. Onomatopoeia is an assassin who had already killed a couple of heroes before this scene and had shot GA’s son in the head. Ollie managed to give blood to save Connor, but Onomatopaeia got into the hospital and attempted to finish Connor off. In this scene GA fights Onomatopoeia despite being weak from giving blood.

Here is a cool feat. Ollie takes on a kingpin like mob boss called Brick. brick has super durable rock hard skin and is much more intelligent that your average comic book muscular bad guy. This doesn't stop Ollie from using swear words and trick arrows to own him......

Still an awesome feat for Ollie though.I first picked up the arc for Hood,but now i'm gonna make it a regular if the stories always this good.

What do you mean by the whole story? I mean, Jason did get away in the end, but only after losign the sword fight.

He planned for Arrow to get that Sword the entire time,it was timed,and he didn't flick a switch or anything.Plus he was holding back as he only wanted to stall for his men to get speedy.......

Ollie was also holding back, as noted by Red Hood when he mentioned "limits." And RH could just as easily stalled him by winning the fight as well.

Overall, the exploding katana seemed to just be a precaution in case he lost.

Meh,Hood was always going to lose in a swordfight it's not his forte.

Or am I thinking of a different GA, this one did not have a beard....hmm I think i'll look at the comic again.

Yup just checked the comic his name is Ollie.

During the year Cap he dedicated himself to MA and swordsmen training.

Yup just checked the comic his name is Ollie.

He has gone through a lot of changes. In his earlier years he was a bit less of a brawler and more of an archer. Recently he has been amped up so He is a great archer and has just gone from a decent brawler to an extremely skilled martial artist. Check out one of the scans on the first page where the guy who taught Deathstroke how to fight, teaches GA

Plus in his earlier appearences, he didn't have a beard

Green Arrow Black Canary Wedding special. Basically, they had their wedding but halfway through it got interrupted by villains. The big guns (Supes, Wonder Woman and the GLs) are distracted elsewhere a force field prevents them from returning to help out. Green Arrow manages to destroy the force field by hitting it with an arrow, allowing the big guns to reach the wedding and save the day. Then they finish their wedding. On their honeymoon night, Ollie's eyes glow this red/bloodshot colour and he randomly attacks Black Canary, in a desperate attempt at self survival, she grabs the nearest thing- an arrow- and plunges it into Ollie's neck, killing him........

Did they give any explanation as to WHY he would try to kill his wife?
