I don't believe you can... I think that's sort of the point... You'll probably have to use torrents or some other kind of P2P and then change the file type to MP4.

You can download off youtube with a Firefox plugin, but as far as I know that's the only way.

No i found a few other ways on the net but firefox was the only one i could be bothered trying

That's rather nifty... I've never really looked through add-ons for firefox before.
