can anyone come up with some new powers

Yes I can, here's my first thought:

Invisibilty

Because Invisible Woman does not have that?

Hmmm, control over friction is one I have not heard yet

well friction/more or less but with kenetick build up was Speedball's power.
besides the joke/We already got Black Tom Cassidy who contrals wood/plants/the ground itself.
I would say that all the good powers are taken...
But how do you feel about someone who could contral anyone he looks at by simply wanting to.
Someone who can touch objects absorb their properties/absorb it completly for more mass/strength
Or a character who can take in any kind of energy and utilize it in any way possible.

Technically not original, but its sort of a combination of Colossus and Marrow. Not only can you turn your skin into organic steel but you can shoot metal spikes/pipes out of your body.

To be an instant expert with whatever weapon you currently hold, (or, technically to be an instant expert in combat with whatever item you hold, since it could be like a candlestick or a coffee mug.)

To be able to transfer all kinetic energy/life energy absorbed (through touch) into speed

To have a body that constantly works at the level of a healing factor towards physical perfection

I can probably think of a few more, though I doubt each one is 100% original

Super Rapping?

I'm sure Hudlin will take advantage of that one

Nipples that dispense tomatoe sauce and mustard.

Powers that deal with genitalia. I don't think they have those in comics so you should be able to get something from that category.

Flail hands.

I'm not sure how I'd have them at the gate - having the weights just mounted at my wrists or have my hands turn into metal or stone or something in whatever position they're in. But when activated they just fall straight to the ground, possibly making a drawbridge sound, as if I have some kind of magical roll of chain up my sleeves. I suppose the forearm part could have some kind of metal cap on it. Perhaps from magical bracers.

Besides being awesome, additional powers would be hovering and a shield by spinning them in above and/or in front of you. And I suppose flight from hurling the flail and riding the momentum. Similar powers to Thor but they do these things because they don't make sense, not magic.

So you want the power..to defy common sense?

Yes.

But not like "the ability to wear sandals in winter!"

Instantly know how to get out of bad situations no matter how dangerous

Thor wants to kill you apologize?

By touching something, you can turn it into glass.

Some have similiar powers to this but not really exactly. Sage can sort of do this. She can analyze/ download anything she wants with her cybernetic glasses that allow her to access the any computer/internet. She also processes the information faster allowing her to learn it instantly. Echo can just see someone using a weapon and imitate everything they do, sort of what your talking about, but not exactly.
