Has anyone else read these? I was wondering if Khyber has appeared in any other comics before. He seems like a pretty cool villain, and I hope they use him more.

Nope, he's a new introduction - his appearance in #657 was the first for him. Interesting character, but his storyline reminds me a bit of Marvel's Apocalypse, as far as how long he's been around, and his intentions in the world...

have to say i really liked 658, considering i thought the earlier issue was kinda crappy...

I liked the part in #658 where Superman was using energy other than star radiation to power himself.
