Depends on how much Genis Contributed to the Destruction of Eternity (as it wasn't done on panel.) and how much Enthropy Contributed.

Maelstrom almost destroyed the Universe as Anomaly.

Thanos had the power twice too destroy the Universe.

Hyperstorm,Genis-Vell and Quasar are very powerful

Odin Zeus and Depowered Tyrant are skyfather level characters.

All that prep = no prep.

Off course there was time of PIS where shi like IG happend but they had to make a story.

Also eternity destroys this team with ease.

The only way Thanos has a chance against Eternity is with the IG or HOTU. Otherwise he could have a thousand years prep and Eternity would only laugh at him.

A good comparison is all of earths Skyfathers had a thousand years prep against the Celestials and still got their ass handed to them.
