Yea but thats cause Thanos wants desperately to become God so he set that goal and accomplished it. As Reed and Strange have never tried to become God who's to say they can't if they don't apply themselves.

Thanos. He's pretty much the king of prep. With Strange a verrrrrrryyyyyyy close 2nd.

Reed Richards would seem to be the king of prep. As Thanos is very very old and Strange has vast amounts of magic and yet reed has out prepped both of them. He's Gotten his hands on the UN and fixed the Multiverse. His feat outshines any and all of theirs.

Strange should win this in any realistic assessment

of course each is going to show up with their UNs or IGs, but just the general abstract nature of his magics, plus the sheer versatility he will have put him well above them when it comes time to play "fastest draw in the west".

Basically, Thanos and Reed are going to have to spend a week planning and building stuff they don't already have. For Strange

Sunday - figure out what spell to use to negate time or whatever he plans to do

mon - sat - whatever

Not to mention, Thanos and Reed are going to be depending on one or a few plans to work out, Strange has the power to almost wing this, based on the sheer options he is going to have

Thanos wasn't prepared for Kazaar or Squirrel Girl. Even tho they got retconned, it happened before the retcon. THanos isn't smart enough to stop himself from creating his own downfall. He also didn't know that he stole the wrong orb of power from Morg. Reed is a much more thorough Prep strat than Strange or Thanos.

This is the thing about Thanos, the guy knows every move that is opponents is gonna throw at him. He alsways have a back up plan or every situation,which is one of the reasons he's always a step ahead of everybody. Besides that, he knows his opponents, essecially Dr.Strange. Of cource he will come up a plan that could negate D Strange's magic. Strange is smart but he's not thanos smart.

I give Strange the majority with a few minutes prep to a day of prep, magics works that way. But a week heck no, the more prep that is aloud the more of a advantage thanos has.

yea of cource he can, but not with a weeks prep givein to thanos imo, thanos would know already strange's plan of action, he 's just that good when prep is involved.
With a week's prep thanos can easilly attain the cosmic cube, or retreive the Infinity Gems and form the IG. And crush and prep time stratagy Strange has.

Thanos win this ugly. He would already know everything his oponents would do and just bury them. To put it bluntly he is the smartest.

And Reed is outclassed in every single way here, at least Strange is near Thanos powerlevel, Reed has to get there first and then surpass Thanos with the same time of prep and less intellect.

The only reason Thanos was able to become God three times is becuz no one knew what he was up to. He's outside of Times loop so the LT couldn't stop him and one of the times was another Thanos. If he had someone planning a counter, he might not have made it that far. By rights, the games master should have outwitted him. After all, the games master tricked krona with Metron's help. Tyrant out witted him. But Thanos is smart. I just dont' think he's as smart as reed. Reed is a human and can accomplish so much without being a Titan or a sorcerer. That might be but he didn't stop him after he got the IG.

This is simply ridiculous. Have you forgotten that among Thanos' powers is a great knowledge of magic? Dr. Strange has nothing here. And as for Reed's intellect, Thanos has peered into the Infinity Well for long bouts of time. His intellect is simply god-like.

Though Thanos has died in the Annihilation series, Keith Giffen has hinted that Thanos may become the next Death. Fact is, Thanos truly is one step ahead of everyone, even when everyone doesn't know what that extra step entails.

reed has tech, strange has magic and thanos has both. his skills with magic are rarely seen but hes supposedly pretty good at it. probably not as good as strange though. id say hes smarter than reed, hes supposed to be superhumanly intelligent, and his intelligence translates to the practical world much better than reeds. hes destroyed or ruled the universe a number of times, and even saved it on the odd occasion.

even his half interested attemps are genious, like in she hulk recently when he had a clone show up and claim the reason he was in love with death is becuase his brother did some love spell on him to stop him being scared. almost everyone fell for it, in the end he was found out and the clone said the original probably didnt really care, he just thought it was amusing. i dont think anyone can stop thanos with prep.
