The timezones usually adhere to wherever the judge is.

argh!! i thought it was 5 oclock deadline!! please please please accept my entry!

text is cool but other than that all it is is slapped on render and an overlayed border, this looks like it took all of about one minute

I have to agree with boobs here.

Lifeinserpia, The background needs to blend with the image and over all theme of the sig. The text looks good, but use a bit of a drop shadow to achive a 3d look. The screen effect works well in small amounts not covering the majority of the sig. I think your over all sig talent is much better then this and I think some of this can be chalked up to forgetting the deadline.

Kuchiki, Nice, your background goes well with the image, creative to alter the image color to match your background and I like how you used a bright background as contrast to the image. The text is very nice and matches the overall theme. It's like the cover of a rock album. You need to work on image blending abit.

No prob, next time will be better, I downloaded a lot of renders (not stocks).

And LIS, I've seen you do decent sigs before, thats why I say it doesn't represent your true talent.

If you wanna make good backgrounds, Photoshop is good (Mostly what I use), there are others as well. And if you want to find good background go to a search engine and click the images option and type in a very simple word that describes the type of sig you wanna make and you should get a decent background.
