Unlikely Leaders

Ok which characters do you you think would make good leaders but aren't necessarily well known leaders.

I personally think a good example of this is Invisible Woman. Especially in the Marvel DC crossover with Superman and the fantastic four, when Reed got captured yes

I also hadn't really considered Nightwing much of a leader until recently. I had read most of Nigthwing's solo stuff but I haven't read any Titans or Outsiders and apparently DC is hyping up the fact Nigthwing makes a great leader.

My final choice is Wolverine (And don't call me a fanboy. Spidey takes Logan 8 or 9/10 any day.) I always thought Logan would make a good leader for a group of X-men if they had to split up into teams into subgroups. Post H.O.M (as bad as the storyline was) Did bring out some leadership qualities in logan until Cyclops showed up yes

Who else do you guys consider to be a great leader?

nimbus006
Hell yea Logan would be a good leader.

Others:

Punisher- of a like a night stalking team
Thing
She Hulk
Hal Jordan
Black Canary
Cable
Beast

Doctor S.T.D.
I think Wonder Woman would make a great JLA leader. Id love to see her depicted in a Jenny Sparks fashion, i.e as a real ruthless sexy *****, who always gets the job done.

DEADPOOL! big grinP: laughing

Wolverine would make a good leader. Imo I think Spider-Man would make a good leader too. In Maximum Carnage he does a good job rallying the heroes together and he has more experience in the field than most of the other MU heroes. I think its time he stepped up

willRules
Yeah Spidey would make a good leader, it's a shame he likes to be a loner sad

Another good choice IMO is Shadowcat for a younger generation of X-men or Ms Marvel would be an interesting leader for the upcoming mighty Avengers team yes

Grimm22
Spidey can hardly manage his own life, none the less a team no expression

Peter isn't a leader, sorry its the truth

willRules
who do you think is an unlikely yet potentially good leader?

Priest
Cable

willRules
IMO Cable isn't really that unlikely, hasn't he lead groups before like x-Force and the six pack or whatever it's called, plus he had the whole Messianic leader thing going in Cable and Deadpool issues 7-12 (Burnt offering storyline)

Lucid Lui
I agree with Wolverine. I think in most cases he'd make a good leader.

Aquaman's a great leader, though he rarely gets credited as such. He often takes a leadership role in the JLA (even forming his own at one point), he's led various one-time superhero get-togethers/teams throughout the years, and he's a king.

SnakeEyes
You guys might think I'm crazy, but the Hulk I think could make a good leader. I mean, after reading Planet Hulk, I can definitely see him as a leader.

Beta Ray Howard
Hulk, definately. Already led the Pantheon.

Blair Wind
DC:
Nightwing of course
Cyborg
Hawkman
Guy Gardner
Kilowog
Robin (tim drake)
Atom

Marvel:
Nightcrawler
Angel
Havok
Spiderman did good with the new mutants against Juggs

He was my favorite choice. I can see him leading the X-Men in the future, or maybe like an X-Force, or something of the like.

Most of those guys already are leaders.

What Atom do you mean? The current Atom is just a kid.

Blair Wind
Yea but they dont get recognized as much as some of the other leaders erm

I meant Atom whos wife starting killing everyone. Didn't he do a decent job when he ended up on the Teen Titans or am I mistaken?

Nightwing and Cap also have crap that occurs in their life. Don't see how that has any bearing on their ability to work in the field.

Also for leaders I gotta point out Aquaman and Hawkman.

Current Atom isn't a kid. Isn't he a professor?

MightyEInherjar
Right now, Hulk. You can see him shape up as a leader with his new intelligence in Planet Hulk.

Current Atom isn't a kid. Isn't he a professor? Yeah but Dick and Cap are so hardcore that they're steve irwin hardore.Well Aquaman is a king so he's not an unlikly leader and neither is Hawkman because he led the JSA a couple times.I'd say Iceman. He's been around forever and knos pretty much everyone.

Iceman's an interesting choice........

Blair Wind
If only they ever let him mature erm

You can only stay a "kid" for so long. I would love to see them toughen Iceman up a little.

ya wolverine is a good leader and maybe one day he will lead a team for a lobng period of time

He led alpha flight

he led the x-men, but both cases were only for a few months.

He has shown to be able to train other and motivate people to do better in combat.

he been a good under ground leader to bad he was not in civil war main story lines.

His trianer in the ninja and military would come in real handed for lead stealth teams.

also he seems to be able to ease other's and inspiring them by his deeds in battle. he reminds me of Bruenor Battlehammer

capt it up
ice-man not a good leader pre say. night crawler is a good leader, but he enevr bee that amazing a leader due to his passive nature.

Jade Lightning
If Spider-man got a bit more self-confident in his abilities and personality, which I think is very likely now that he's revealed his identity and with the impending "Sniper" crisis, he would make a steadfast leader.

BUMP

llagrok
Squirrel girl

Martian_mind
Red Hood.

ExodusCloak
The X-Men are full of leaders...I guess a good leader would depend on personal preference.

Most Recognized Leaders of The X-Men
Cyclops
Xavier
Storm
Magneto

Not so recognized:
Jamie or Layla...it's hard...Layla's pretty good.
Hellion is better then Surge IMO
Emma
Wolverine
Nightcrawler(I'll reserve judgement, he'll get his chance soon)
Rogue
Cable

I'd put Jean but she admitted that she didn't have what it takes to be a leader.
