Glad/Hyperstorm defeat the Superman/Hulk team for a couple reasons.

One being that a team-up of an F-18E and a EuroFighter Typhoon will always beat a team up of a F-15E and a Porsche sportcar in a race (since the Porsche, while being a very fast car, is still a car in a race between jet fighters. Oh, the Hulk happens to be the Porsche here).

Or an underwater fight with a team-up between a Mako Shark and a Killer Whale, versus a team-up between a Great White shark and a Mountain Gorilla. Now, the gorilla may be boss of the Ruwenzori mountains and can crack a man's ribs with ease, but in the water a gorilla is worth less than warm spit. Same thing with the Hulk here.
