Character Guide:
Dark Star

Origin: On November 9, 2025 five astronauts: John McKinley,Sarah Holloway,Ronald Chaney,Elizabeth Stanford, and Tyres White, were set on a mission objective by ISAC (International Space and Alien Cooperation) to retrieve analysis and useful data from a newly discovered planet called Javion. This planet was recorded to have a surface area of about 205 Earths,and about 2 times the size of Jupiter (12.28 x 10 to the tenth power K(kilometers) squared in SI Base Units). However despite it's massive size, it also had an usual amount of "electro-cosmic" storms. Researchers declared that this was due to the amount of emitted cosmic energy in it's atmosphere. There are also records of a new type of metalloid which is located about 62.3 miles from it's core.The metal was also said to have a high concentration of Titanium and another unknown substance.

Five years have passed since there astronauts first left Earth,and while arriving in it's thick atmosphere the astronauts began to prepare their utensils and equipment. The landing was pretty rough but everyone made it in on piece. After their long journey the astronauts finally began to venture onto the giants surface and collect samples.However just about 120 miles northeast of their location a storm was approaching and fast.Three hours had passed since the astronauts first landed and when the storm began to thrive .Surprised of the unexpected the astronauts began to flee towards the ship, for their equipment did detect the storm in time.The energy emitted from the storm instantly killed the astronauts and destroyed their ship and equipment. However Elizabeth was the only one to survive. Her body had some how adapted and absorbed the storms energy while giving her strange supernatural abilities. For many years Elizabeth had spent time rebuilding the ship while at the same time gaining even more powers from the planet. Unfortunately after many attempts she was still unsuccessful.However one of her abilities allows her to travel at high speeds ,therefore allowing her to travel to Earth rather quickly. When she finally arrived on Earth she changed her identity,for her and the other astronauts were declared dead. From that day Elizabeth then became Dark Star.


Powers/Abilities: 1. Can manipulate the molecules of any substance
2. Can change the state of matter(both chemical and physical) any substance(including herself)
3. Can control both electrical and cosmic energies
4. Can travel a great velocities
5. Flight
6.Super-Strength

Weaknesses: 1. Her molecules can't with stand to much heat or she would dissolve and her molecules would seperate.

The Illusionist

Origin: Matthew. Johnson had a troubled and abusive childhood,which evenually led to to runaway from home and kill his family. It was then noticed that he had the strange gift to give off illusions with his mind.

Powers/Abilities:1. Can produce illusions.

Weaknesses: Bright light(including her self) can temporily stop his illusions

Metemorph

Origin: Danny Holmes was a constuction worker that one day was almost killed after almost being smashed to death by a pile of steel beams. Amazily he survived,but was revived by scientist in S.E.N.D ( Secret Experimental National Ageny).
Unfortunately the scientist had did an experiment on Danny in which they manipulated his molecules to take the form of any substance. However, this came with a price causing Danny to become defomed making him a "monster".

Powers/Abilities:1. Can change his state of matter.
2. Super-strength
3. Invulnerbility

Weakness:1.Extremely hot and cold temperatures.

Javion II

Origin: A monsterous creature created in the core of the giant planet.

Powers/Abilities: 1.Super strength
2. Same abilities of Dark Star
3.Invulnerable
4.Evolution

Weakness:1. Can only be destroyed if Javion is destroyed

Black Matter

Origin: Born with his powers John Underwood had a normal life as a child. Unfortunaly when he was 7 years old his parents were kidnapped and never seen again. Scared and lonlely,he ran away and eventually found a home where he raised himself and enhanced his powers. Then he eventually wanted to seek revenge on all evil.


Powers/Abilities::1. Can control the density and matter of an substance.
2.Telepathic

Weakness:1.Has a difficulty controling metal.

There's already a comic character named Darkstar.

the powers sound silly and frivilous; there's no apparent tie between the characters; they seem like archetypes without personality the first girl seems like a fantastic four spin-off, to be honest. turns out it's different, but the empowered astronaut idea will inevitably be linked to the fantastic four.

Why so many superpowered characters? Maybe it would be better to focus your creative energies on one main character and write an actual story.

I emphasize the latter because That's what'll make your characters "real," not just powers / name / origin. There are just too many superdudes/superbabes zippin' around these days for anyone to really strike gold, ie, come up with something totally awesome and original. On the other hand, a character (even one who's somewhat cliche) can have enormous impact if we see him/her in action (emotional as well as physical).

In other words: Show us, don't tell us. And certainly don't let criticism dampen your enthusiasm.

Well just remember this is just for a Chemeistry Project
