In case anybody doesn't know about the Shroud, he tangled with the West Coast Avenger's awhile back. He is blind and possesses mystical abilities as well as being able to disperse a dark cloud around himself rendering everything black.

He has the original version and a new issue that came out in '06. He is apparently more bloodlust and bad ass. I dunno much about the new version just the old one of the late eighties

You mean as he appeared in his original series then. So ignore everything from when he got superpowers onwards. Also, there has only ever been one MK, just written differently.

The Shroud again takes this.

The Shroud was a match for Moon Knight even on a night of the full moon. There wasn't a move Moon Knight could dish out that Shroud couldn't counter. It basically went to a stale only as a plot driver.

Moon Knight admitted Shroud was a better fighter and he would have lost right away if he (Moon Knight) wasn't at peak power that night.

Nice match-up idea, even if Moon Knight is underpowered here. The main thing that Moon Knight has going for himself is the gritty, semi-mystical thing (Is it Khonshu? Just his insanity and will?) that lets him overcome odds far to great for him. Only because of this could he occasionally take one. It wouldn't be PIS, it's a basic part of the Moon Knight character that adds to his mystery.

For sure, I don't disagree Moon Knight is awesome.

I wish they would have done more team-up or interaction stuff between the two.

He's my bro's favourite while mine is the Shroud.

He's definitely clocked more reading hour enjoyment though based on character :-/

Moon Knight had Denny O'Neil at one point. Definitely a lot of reading enjoyment surrounding that character. I think that the mystery of Khonshu's intervention is basically his "power." That is a cooler power than strength the changes with the moon's phases. For a superhero that is as much a power as a weakness (sometimes he is just a regular guy that can fight).

But Shroud is pretty tough as well despite his disability

I'm basically just suggesting that Moon Knight isn't guaranteed a loss. He is quite disadvantaged in the general case.

Agreed! By no means is it 10/10 Shroud

Prolly pretty close but I'm giving it to the Shroud where as my brother gives it too Moon Knight :-P
