It will be interesting post CW, as some of the old heroes will be considered anti-heroes by some. Such as Spiderman and Luke Cage.

Venom is almost the definition of an anti-hero, has good intentions but doesn't care how he arrives at the goal.

Let's just ignore the fact that he takes unbridled joy in slaughtering victims who HE believes are "guilty." He's killed many innocents, and he's a psycho.

Venom is a villain. He may have down some heroic things in the past, but that doesn't erase the other stuff he's done as well.

I thought that was the definition of an antihero? someone who is intrinsically good but has done bad stuff.

Many villains have done good deeds. That doesn't make them "anti-heroes."
