Ey there friends and foes,

A really cool feature here at KMC is allowing you to Ignore any annoying or in-appropriate replies posted by members of the forum.

Sometimes you'll report a Troll but this doesn't always work, so you have to sit there and watch someone be a total A-Hole while you're trying to enjoy yourself discussing what you love, like Comics

So anyways, let's just get to it, it's quite simple but I'm sure many don't know about it. I've had more than one PM about it so I figured I'd make a thread with this information included.


Just imagine, you and all your Friends can Ignore a person collectively and you'll never have to see the garbage that person is spewing again.

Ok.


1. At the top of the/your interface (screen) left hand side, beneath KMC Community Forums, where it says "User CP" - click on that ...

2. Middle of your screen, bold blue taps (user control panel tabs) right hand side, you'll see "Edit Ignore List" - click on that

3. Center of your screen, right any screen name you want, and simply press "Update list" (you can add up to THREE Trolls to your Ignore List) youpi


Enjoy yall.

But yes, it's certainly the most effective way to ignore socks and such.

Just be careful not to be jerks to newbs if they don't have a ton of knowledge. We all have to start somewhere.

Irrational fanboys are one thing. But one of my first threads, for example, was Thanos vs. Surfer. If I had made that, say, yesterday....the reception I'd get would probably make me not want to come back to KMC.

Exactly .... I don't think socks are such a bad thing anyway, especially if the sock in question is willing to debate properly. I've been debating with a LOT of you over the last few months, under various names and have caused very little trouble. True I've thrown in the odd insult here and there, but a bit of banter is always a good thing IMO. I know it wont be long before this sock gets banned, (Especially when you have the likes of Beta Ray Howard on here, who ironically is also a sock). But with several different I.P. addresses at my command there is no way you can stop me. I'm no fan of ignore lists. It's the internet and I see no reason to get so worked up over somebody as to ignore them. Most of the sock/trolls crack me up. David Richards just had the longest posts and it was difficult to read threads after he spammed them up. Yeah your right, but at the same time its not like debates are an issue of life and death, but sometimes people put alot of effort into posts and its really annoying sometimes after doing that people still act like jerks.

The thing I find is that most people either read what the person they have on ignore say anyways, and then an argument of "why are you arguing with me I have you on ignore" and " if you have me on ignore why are you arguing with me?" starts up...

Very few people kicked off forums are bitter I suspect, after all the forums are only "internet" forums, nothing real. It's just an opinion but most people that get kicked off intend to be and expect it.
