Also to clarify, By musical I also include tv musical episodes, evne though I think only like 3 shows have ever done them.

But seriously, Grease is a mint soundtrack, Sound of Music is too classical ('These Are Some of My Favourite Things' is too perfect to be bad) and Mary Poppins sucks so I hate you.

LOL I wish they would have Mary Poppins on South Park so Cartman could take her out.

I didn't really like any

I like almost all the Rocky Horror Picture Show songs.

Well its from an operetta not a musical technically but I happen to love "I Am The Very Model Of A Modern Major General" from Pirates of Penzance.

Hmmm, movie-wise it's definitely 'You Give A Little Love' from Alan Parker's Bugsy Malone; it's just perfect.

In the theatre, I'd have to be cheesy and go for Mr. Mistoffelees from CATS.

Don't know if anyone's heard the Jesus Christ Superstar "Overture" opening track...wild. The 70's version

It's more of an instrumental...but one of my fave musical tracks.

I have and it's amazing. I also love the overture for the opening second half of Phantom of the Opera.

Oh boy...its so hard to choose! I love all of Wicked...and Rent...and Aida...and The Last Five Years. So - take that for what you will.
