Why is it called that?

SO I was on this other forum and it was talking about hamburger handjobs, (lol off topic) and I had a thought.

Why is it called a HAMburger if it comes from a COW?

anyone else ever think of this?

what should it be called then?

I am really, very serious that it is named after Hamburg. The Hamburger as you now it may very well have been inveneted in the US but the name comes from Hamburg Germany and it is from there because the basic concept of "Frikadellen im Brötchen" ("Meatball in bun"😉 came from there as well.

random meat..mostly human fingers

This thread reminds me of something....
