Did anyone ever see the import version of this movie? There's a U.S. DVD of it coming out on February 6th and I'm wondering if I should get it. Apparently it's Romeo and Juliet only with samurai warriors. Anybody recommend it?

its an adaptation of the anime called Basilisk which in itself is an awesome anime. I mean you gotta love it. Two rival clans the Koga and the Iga have a blood feud for centuries kept in check by the Shogunate. Until when the decree is that they both reengage fighting for power of the new throne. The powers that each clansman possess is awesome

Shinobi is a great film IMO - really cool action, and the whole thing looks lush as.

The Japanese special edition is amazing - you get a T-shirt (blah) and....wait for it....a shuriken!!

I was going to try and order the premium edition but then saw the price.

I've seen the ordinary edition dvd for sell, might take a look.
