It doesnt matter how the belt is. It's the challenge, which Batista would be a greater challenge since one, Undertaker has never faced Batista, two, Undertaker has beaten Cena on many occasions even though Cena has taken Undertaker too his limit. Undertaker would be a good match with Lashley in some ways since Lashley is a powerhouse but Lashley isn't that to good at taking hits and falls. Like in his match last week against Kenny Dykstra, Lashley had some hard times in that match. Like HBK said on Smackdown, the veterans feed on compition, nothing is better than compition.

My post wasn't an attack on anybody in this thread, genius. I just found it funny people here were talking like wrestling is a real sport which is something I believed in during pre Attitude era which is about 10 years ago.

As for it being real. True in one sense and false in another. It's real in the sense that it's like playing football year around and most of the wrestlers are amazing athletes. But it is fake in how matches are determined. You don't have bookers and bookings in UFC because UFC is a real sport with real outcomes. WWE matches are pre determined.

I wouldn't say they are predetermined, anymore.

read it in the Newspaper. we have a local guy that interviews all the wrestlers every week. Taker openly admits he's retiring to spend time with the kid he's just had before christmas, but i'm pretty sure he'll be back... look at Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair... etc... Taker's more a company name than Hogan these days... he'll be back. it's just a short little retirement.

If Taker loses at WM 23 to Batista of all people, it'll be lame.

I really doubt that'll happen. Undertaker has so much respect and say in the E that he would have to agree to lose to Batista for it to happen. It also doesn't make sense from a business standpoint. The only way Taker's streak might end would be if it would enhance a wrestler's career who is going to be a mainstay at the top for a while like say Edge. Batista doesn't fit that criteria as he's old, gets injured all the time, and sucks in the ring and on the mike.

Sadly I know some basics in Judo, I'm an Intermediate in Karate. I am really skilled at Tae Kwon Do even though I am a blue belt still, even though I've been the same belt for the past 3 years now. Mixing these 3 styles along with boxing and kickboxing has improved me alot at sparring. I had a cast on my left wrist(my good arm) the past month ago, and I was able to beat a 1st degree black belt while not being able to use my left arm in a continuous sparring match and was able to come out top still.

Plus G U I T A R, I'd say HH would beat you any old day/ for me, Tae Kwon Do was a waste of time. Judo was much more effective. The training was much more intense, and i learned alot. My judo class actually incorporated some techniques of JiuJitsu submissions, so that was good. if i was to do all this all over, i would not take up Tae Kwon Do, and train in Greco-Roman wrestling.

we got great seats near the guest fighters (i got to see Randy Couture, Chuck Liddell at UFC 59). there were strippers everywhere. they sat on top of each other, did some moves for the cameraman, and one of them even did this weird thing with her leg where she i dunno how to explain it they even came and talked to us. I rather have that, then some wwe entertainment.

anyway, i'd take Pride, UFC, K1 any day over WWE or other entertainment shows.

I agree. Triple HHH IMHO, should retire. He's married. Doesn't put over the young kids. I guarantee, he returns he will cry for the belt again. Shawn will lose to Cena hopefully. He has had his day in the sun

I dislike Chris Masters. The guy can't even move while in the ring.

As of WM23...I hope HBK defeats John Cena. It's not the end of the world if Cena loses...and it's about time he ****ing loses. He can't perform at all. All he does is take an uncanny beating of epic proportions and just come back with 2 moves and a F U or STFU for the win. Very boring to say the least. Cena has become the Wolverine of the WWE. Taker & Batista...Taker should and must win. All hell will break loose if Batsita manages to end Taker's streak. Besides Batista doesn't need that feat. He's already got a nice resume and is popular enough with the fans.

You do realise that a number of people could have broken it, they just let Lashley do so because it's to hype him for the Battle of the Billionaires, right?

Lashley has so much promise, he was so destructive, but now they've made him stop using The Dominator and make him use a running powerslam, which is called The Dominator.

Cena isn't doing anything Austin didn't do, but better. That's the problem with building him up on a hip hop gimmick, sooner or later he had to "grow up". They had no ideas, so they just made him a generic wrestler, like so many in WWE now. That's why it's boring. Everybody has a real name, nobody has a gimmick.

Also, why they keep hyping Umaga as some undefeatable nutcase is beyond me. J.R saying; "The Samoan Spike is a move nobody can get up from!". It's a regular move that about a million people have used.

It's a well known fact that Vince likes big guys. It doesn't matter if they're good or not, he just likes big guys. Nathan Jones was brought in with all the fanfare, and despite being an inhumanly sized being (Proportionately.), was awful and Batista is Brock Lesnar without being anywhere close to believable or good. Bobby Lashley not only lacks stamina, but look at his move list, he's already stopped using The Dominator now, they've gave him a crappy running powerslam.

Brock came in, started destroying people with vicious moves, or ordinary moves that looked killer, and got over. That said, he did botch a lot. Goldberg is a brilliant example of how it was done well. WCW was packed so full of employees that he had plenty of shit wrestlers to rack up wins against, but it didn't make his streak seem lame. He had brilliant moves too, as did Scott Steiner, who was great in WCW, now he's some idiot. Chris Masters, another man who could benefit from moves that made you believe his muscles were for anything but show, yet they give him a full nelson. What happened to Sid, Mike Awesome (Ok he's dead, but you get the point) and other people who used to make people cringe by doing powerbombs?

Even Kevin Nash had potential that wasn't really used (Despite being WWF champ for 2 years), though he didn't help himself. I think he just didn't have many he liked working with. Him and Shawn had great matches, but they more or less ruled the booking roost back then.

Bobby Lashley is the first promising "big guy" in ages, but he'll come to nothing. It's a shame. Just another waste, like RVD, Booker T and Kane before him, and CM Punk to follow, or worst of all, Nova (Simon Dean the fitness guy, to all you who are new.).
