Yeah but Apollo works like a battery he needs to be chargered and I doubt he was fully "charged" when Midnighter layed the beatdown on him.

It really makes no difference in the end. When you consider that Apollo fully charged has enough energy to make the moon glow as brightly as the sun, a small percentage is going to still pack the force of a LARGE nuke, which should be more than a match for Midnighter. Yet M.N. still beat the shit out of him.

See there a huge difference between Midnighter and Wolverine.

Wolverine has far superior damage soaking ability.

Logan also has an ease way of by passing Hulk's durability while midngihter does not


Logan also has the stamina to fight for day's on end.

fact is it does not matter who would win the abilites that allow Logan to battle with the hulk midnighter just does not have. Unless you think midnighter can take 100 class hit repeatedly and has blades that can pritty much cut through any thing.

Wolverine was also originally meant to be an actual wolverine, mutated into a humanoid by High Evolutionary, with roughly the same stats as Spiderman. Then High Evolutionary was going to help him become a real human. Kind of like a horrifying version of Pinoccio.
