I do write poetry, thank you very much. I'm not any good or anything, I just like to write. So here's some of my stuff.

Tears
Silent tears run down my face
I really, really miss you
I see your face in the flames
And I know you miss me too

I Am
I am a unique person who's glad to be different
I wonder if I will ever become the person I want to be
I hear the howl of a lone wolf crying out for his brothers
I see a peaceful world where all are equal
I want everyone to know who I am
I am a unique person who's glad to be different

I pretend that I know what's going on in today's world
I feel the touch of an angel guiding me down the right path
I touch the wind that blows over the ocean
I worry I will not be able to live up to everyone's expectations
I cry for all those who have given their lives in service of thier country
I am a unique person who's glad to be different

I understand that everything happens for a reason
I say anyone's dreams can come true
I dream of making a name for myself
I try to be the best person I can be
I hope everyone is proud of me and who I am
I am a unique person who's glad to be different.

Ripped to Pieces
Everything just hurts so much
Why can't you read my signs?
I tried to make it obvious,
Yet you block it out of your mind.

I gave you all the chances
To give me a chance
But you still chose her
Didn't give me a second glance.

My hearts been hurt before
Been tossed and thrown around
But baby its been ripped to peices
Since you came to town

Every time you come near,
My heart jumps in my chest
Then I remember your choice,
But then I shoud have guessed.

You never really liked me
As more than a friend
However hard I wished and tried
We couldn't get around that bend

I wished every day and night
For you to love me back
But when I'd see you on the bus
You face, the love, it'd lack

I need you to see the truth
So you can see what's wrong
The pain that I am going through
Will last beyond this song

And to think we play this game
Of talking back and forth
Trading words and sometimes smiles
Even though my heart might burst

So I wait for you notice
My slowly dying heart
You're ripping me to peices
I bet for you it's now an art.

How Long
How long is an hour
How long is a day
How long have you been here
How long will you stay
How baggy are your pants
How tight is your shirt
How tight is your blouse
How short is your skirt
These thing really matter
When we are apart
But when we're together
How long is your heart??

Its not. I live inland, so I'm safe.

Rain comes down in sheets
Thunder roars in the sky
Lightning strikes the earth
A storm rolling over the place of my birth

I stand on the roof
Waiting for the proof
That the raging storm
Will cause me harm

The raindrops beat down on my face
Washing away every trace
Of who I used to be
The girl that wasn't me

To escape from the world
A place I am free
A place I can be me

So innocent and safe
A place that's so pure
A place with such alure

So easy to be in
A place in someone's heart
A place in your arms

Feelings.


Confusion.
Running wild in my heart.
Pain.
I've felt it from the start.

Drama.
I could live without.
Tears.
I always just want to shout.

Broken.
Is what I feel.
They.
Are the only way I heal.

He.
Could fix me.
He.
But another.
He.
Like a brother?
He.
Or like a lover?

No One.
Truly knows.
No One.
Ever will.

Torture.
Learn to live with it.
Emotion.
I'll lose this bit.

Escape.
From this place.
Never.
Leave a trace.
