ahh, i remember it well. me alone vs the triumvirate of death -- cosmic cube, long pig (though he mostly stayed in the background . . .) and of course kgkg.

they said that the combination of superman, captain marvel and wonder woman had NO chance to defeat thanos. i merely said that if they could work together and use their speed effectively, they might be able to get thanos in the lasso and then he'd be screwed. well, they didn't care much for THAT opinion, and of course i didn't care much for THEIR reaction, so . . . i battled them for pages on the point . . .



not even sure how much i BELIEVED in my side, but it didn't matter much at that point. things got a bit ugly after a while, and cc hounded me in thread after thread before we finally ironed out our differences and actually became something akin to buds on the forum. even kg and i got along after a while though the bad blood still lingers between lp and i . . .

hehehe.

but my first taste of kmc was a bloody one!

Started in gaming section, gradually migrated to comics. I think my first post on here was in a Terry Bogart vs. someone from Tekken thread. The video game section dragged down over time, and I moved to comics. Now I try to kill fanboys and beat down Apoc haters. And sometimes actually contribute interesting posts. Seriously, where did all these psycho Hulk fans come from?

I started in the religion section and the anime/manga section. After a while I found that the anime/manga section had died and the religion section always degenerated to the exact same discussion.

The minute someone said that T-Vo could take Thanos.

I wanted to slap a ho.

Mine was versus Whirly on "Adam Warlock vs Superman".

I was lucky enough to have a smooth integration. Mostly because I was smart enough to read about certain characters and educate myself before posting some biased fanboy opinion.

That was back in the beginning. You grow fast on KMC. For me, it's been what, half a year? Maybe a lil more. All the same, the last one to call me a fanboy (disregarding xmeat) was, I believe, David Richards.

Oh, and Martian doesnt count either. Since he only insinuated it after I "insinuated" that Jonn was a green slimy emo.

The Superman vs. Thor thread was the first time that I truly stretched my legs as a debater and moved onward from there.

But nowadays I just don't take it seriously enough to get to that level anymore.

my first kmc experience was with alpha centauri. don't remember what over, we argued though. demigawd was repping magneto super hard, and cosmic cube was repping silver surfer super hard. and then came whirly.

Mine was more of stalking Countless "Mostly Whirly" on-commers trying to put GS's Pheonix theory to bed. Mind you this was my first time seeing it it coulda been argument number 134 for them. Then I simply took my shoes off, and lit a newport up and said "yup, im home."

First thread I ever made, was Silver Surfer Vs. Odin, it was uni Powered Surfer Vs. Odin I think, or maybe it was SS and all the heralds Vs. Odin.

Almost everyone came and immediately argued against me, stating that Odin would eliminate all of them with ease, that they may have numbers but they were just flys.

Ti's been a while and I can barely remember what the discussion was about but grey fox was having an arguement with the other person about...something or other. Anyway I butted into the arguement to state my opinion and then grey fox called me an idiot. Or at least that's what it looked like. You see GF was calling the other guy an idiot and forgot to quote him so it looked like he was calling me an idiot.

For about one page I argued with him while he argued with someone else before we both realized how stupid I was being and we became friends. We've been friends ever since.

depending on who i was sided with (or sometimes who i was arguing AGAINST) i pretty much argued BOTH sides of that argument, at length, over the course of a LOT of pages . . .



early on, i basically sided against cube and kg no matter WHAT they said!

Mine was Spider-Man vs Wolverine. I still feel that SM would win but at the time I was green and not to good at getting my point. Creshok just took me to school for a while.

My first post was Batman vs Thanos. It was quite funny because the mod was like "What you picked this OLD ass thread to discuss!" The mod said I was gonna get owned but I didn't.

got send to here by the judge, people dissed me, hated me, thinking i was him. terrible start. but i gained peoples trust by being myself and debating, and now, only few believe i am him

My frist Thread I made (and subsequently frist post in the vs. Forum) was Silver Samuri vs Gray Fox.

But The Frist time I really got into debating with Scans and such, Juggernaut vs. Hulk, man Me Souljaboy, Jug666 Accel, Dinaflos, Dalak, Newjak and a few other went on like madmen.

Let's see I came to the KMC comic books forum looking up a character I had seen on the Justice League Unlimited series.

Anyways long story short I joined up made a thread with a bunch of random characters for fun and then was about to leave before finding the RP section.

As for the first time I think I actualyl decided to debate that was against GS in the Unicron vs Phoenix thread

Thor vs Superman threads were awesome, and fun. we had some good debates back then.

Started in The Spiderman section , moved to versus. First match I made was Linkin Park versus Mettalica , Scoobless and someone else jokingly threatened to get me banned.

The first versus Match I posted in was Spidey Versus Bats .

That thread was the stuff of legends. I'm going to have to reread that again.

I guess my first big Argument was on Captain America Vs. Gambit With Lasers shooting at both of them. Either that or Supes Vs. Thor.

The Avengers Mansion was what made me feel at home though.

i'd say about 30-40% of the time i debate i don't actually believe the stance i'm taking -- or at least i don't COMPLETELY believe it. sometimes i just take a side that is being portrayed as an underdog or if i see a bunch of kmc hooligans pouncing on someone like jackals, i'll chime in. so long as the person being attacked isn't acting like a jackass . . .

i never get into debating much as i enjoy staying on the sidelines...

although my first time was in the superman vs all dbz/gt characters against avalonofthewind...

props to avy as the dude is a reservoir of superman knowledge, i remember neither of us budging and our posts were heavily laden with sarcasm but we reached a compromise in the end...
