you think its best cyclops and jean go together or wolverine and jean ?
and tell why you chose the one you picked.

Wolverine & Jean.
Because Cyclops is better when he's with Emma, despite the fact he was a doormat. Until he went all badass with the guns that is.

Jean and neither, she's dead so the dates would be really uncomfortable.
Wolverine : So Jean I was thinking about taking you to a new diner tonight, that sound good?
Jean : ............
Wolverine : Jean?
Jean : ............
Wolverine : Fine don't talk to me then! I wish you were dead!
Wolverine stops holding her and Jean's corpse falls to the ground. He walks off. Cyclops checks nobody is looking and and then takes jean's corpse off to his bedroom............
spidey-dude
imagine if jean cyclops and wolvie end up on jerry springer all together. that would be nice. you think springer is fake or real ?

cyke and jean (though they'd need a serious talk), logan and jean was always just a sexual thing, they, imo, probably wouldnt last as an actual couple...

Considering the mortality rate of Wolverine's wives/girl friends and the fact that Jean just can't stay dead, I say they are perfect for each other.
But Wolverine should be a lone, being happy conflicts with his nature... luckily when ever he is happy something usually happens with in two issues to restore the status quo.
xmarksthespot
I always liked Mariko Yashida.
Jean should stay dead.
Cyclops should be with Emma.
Wolverine should be with no one I can think of right now.
srankmissingnin
I think they are going to set Wolverine up with Echo.
There was a bunch of art with the two together on Gabrielle Del'Otto site... and Bendis implied there would be a relationship with Wolverine and someone one the New Avengers. But he is better of alone, getting random tail from time to time.

No... I just returned it.
But on a serious note. Reeves and Bullock? Between the two of them they've never been in decent movie. The only way I could hate that movie more is if it stared 50 Cent and Hillary Swank.

Cyclops and White Queen. She makes him interesting. I used to hate the character before until he started messing around with Emma.

* do you think there is really a character that can hang on with Logan's lifestyle? frankly, i suggest no partner for him...
* Scott is much better with Emma than with Jean... however, i prefer him to go solo...
kayakat
hmm i think Jean and Scott are epic but i dunno if there such a good match considering all the history
as for wolverine ... i dunno but for some reason i think he would make a good match with Psylocke
llagrok
Jean and Cyclops' marriage fell apart, it was dead. They didn't have sex over a period of three months. Wolvie and Jean were nothing but fireworks. Wolvie/Jean and Cyclops/Emma.
Genosha
Dudes, I don't know what universe y'all are from, but Scott has the sexual magnetism of a rock, and Jean is the moss growing on it. puke
Annoying as they are, at least Rogue and Gambit have passion.
Wolvie, I hate to say it, is damaged goods. Old dude has killed about half the women he's slept with. That said, I've always liked him with Ororo. (ps. Halle Berry is NOT Storm)
Nightcrawler is and always has been, hands down, the hottest X-man. He's got the whole sexy-sad thing going on. Sure the idiots who made the movie didn't acknowledge his seductive side at all, but that's not his fault. Anyway, I never liked him with Amanda. I would put him with Blink. They'd have super-sexy, teleporting demon babies.
Then again, there's always Emma and Sinister. I like her better as a villain. Mommy and Daddy. inlove
llagrok
Let's stick to people who at least have human feelings
Genosha
Aw come on Sinister of all people would see the advantage in having a worthy mate.

* Scott-Jean = has been... Scott-Emma = unbelievably better than Scott-Jean... and with things going on right now, Scott should remain solo for a while...
* Logan-Jean = poor, desperate loveteam, or rather, sexteam... they are not compatible and unfruitful, and frankly comics-wise, they are horrible together... sigh, 'nuff said...
Genosha
Ok, so looks like that's been resolved. So how about the age old debate of Kitty and Pete Wisdom or Colossus (I like Pete better, but I've got a thing for cops naughty). Or there's always Rogue + Gambit vs. Rogue + Magneto.

* Gambit-Rogue = sparks fly, but futile... they can't touch, unless they use errr... Danger Room? Genoshan technologies?
* Magneto-Rogue = correct me if i'm wrong -> huge age gap... but fruitful because they can have a child, see Age of Apocalypse...

in the cartoon GL and hawkgirl have the hots for eachother big time. do they go together in the comics as well ? cause ive only read so many justice league books and i dont think ive seen any where they make out in them.

Personally I like Wisdom.

Exactly, he would pick someone who could match his creepy pragmatisim and their romance would go into all kinds of dark and scarry places. I think Emma is a perfect match for him because she has a strong will and a ruthless streak that would keep everyone guessing as to whether she would haul him out of the pit or leap in with him. Or if they would just degenerate to the point that they stabbed each other in the back.
It's not a storybook romance, but it could make for a good story.

No, not really.
Emma's not a mad scientist, she wouldn't go with him at all. It's not even a good joke anymore now. Sinister doesn't go without anyone, unless the Phalanx can spit out a good mate for him.
Genosha
C'mon brother, yer killin me here.
Of course Emma's not a Mad Scientist, that's the point. You never match someone with a person just like them. You have to find someone to complete and challenge them. Emma is a strong character with a dark edge to her personality. If you match her with a villain it will bring all of her internal conflict to a head. This isn't a fairy tale. It's a comic book. Love shouldn't come easy, your characters should have to fight for it.
I also think you're selling our villains short. They make excellent candidates for a romance. You can redeem your villain, taint your hero, or a little of both. It could be a love to last all time or end it. But it doesn't HAVE to do either. It can be a fling that sets the stage for something more meaningful (good or bad) for both characters. One of those pivotal moments when a character realizes something about themselves and makes a change for better or worse. And considering that our Mr. Sinister's crazy stems from a lost love, we know he's capable of human feeling.
When Emma gets done with Scott (I really don't think he's a strong enough character for her. It sells her short) she's going to be in a place where two supposedly good men (Banshee) have used her to get through something difficult and then thrown her away. Because when Jean comes back Scott won't hesitate to kick Emma to the curb despite what ever claims he's made to the contrary. And it's the kind of thing that has happened to her her whole life. There's the potential there for a lot of unhappy, angsty, if a hero can't treat me right at least with a villain I know what I'm in for/f_ the world type feelings. Then you've got Mr. S and his annoying obsession with Grey and Summers, and the irritation at playing second fiddle to jean yet again.
I'm not saying they would be a shinning beacon of love for all to follow. What you have is the potential for a complex and unpredictable storyline. What I'm trying to say is your character's love interests don't (and really shouldn't) work on paper....Um no pun intended. Love is blind yo. And, more important, it doesn't have to turn out OK. We're big boys and girls we don't need a happily ever after (one or two is nice, Susan + Reed Forever).
I wasn't really trying to be funny so much as trying to get everybody to think a little beyond the old stand bys and predictable choices. With the mass of Spaghetti the Marvel Universe has for a time line anything is possible.

* it was implied that Scott will still choose Emma over Jean... Scott honors and respects Jean, but he now loves Emma...
Genosha
Look, I don't want to seem like an ass, but I really don't buy it. For one thing Marvel changes writers faster than toilet paper. It won't be long before one comes along who either thinks Scott and Jean are soulmates or wants the story to take a dark turn.
And kids, I'm sorry but I REALLY hate the idea of the two of them. Emma has been one of my favorites for a long time.
You can say that there's more to it than that if you want, but this storyline feels to me like somebody called down from up on high and said 'Hey we need to get somebody to fill in till Jean gets back. Who's available?'. And the White Queen was offered up as a human...superhuman blowup doll. 'Here Scotty, this'll take the edge off till we get your girl fixed up.'
Whatever man, call me jaded, maybe I am. I just feel like Emma's a great character who should be doing something way more epic than banging f_ing Cyke.
xmarksthespot
She's co-leading the Astonishing X-Men and Headmistress of the Xavier Institute... ermm
Emma Frost and Sinister is horrible, horrible, uncompromisingly horrible proposition.
Jean has already come back during Endsong, and Scott had chosen Emma already then.
pr1983
'twas the phoenix...
Genosha
Sorry, I thought the Phoenix had died AGAIN again...again. Anyway, fine. Shot down. Out voted. Misunderstood. I can take a hint.
So, I'm a alittle out of the loop as far as main X titles go, what's doin' with a new love interest for Kurt. Last I heard for sure was he and Amanda had called it quites, again. For reals this time. Really we mean it. Last time. We swear. And somewhere in there he was celibate for a little while, but also gave that up...again. Then there were the rumors of bringing back that blue chick from some alternate dimension. I think her name started with a K.
Anybody?
And what's with all these wishy washy guys anyway. C'mon Marvel, give me a guy who knows what he wants and takes it for a change of pace. Tortured is wearing a little thin. How many times can you tell me the story of 'I want you, but I can't have you because heroing is so dangerous.'
Sure a little sexual tension is nice. And failure at love is a way of humanizing characters that have to succeed at save the world otherwise...well, you can't sell a comic book about Nobody's Nonadventures Nowhere. Well, maybe you could, but probably only one issue.
But really, it's starting to get to be too symptomatic of the marriage crisis in the US.
'But fans want to see this that or the other character paired up'...well, that's sort of what What If's and alternate timelines are for, yeah?
I've made the claim before and I'll state it again. Comics are soap operas for teen-aged boys. Ya know like 'Comics are to 15 yr old WMGs (white male geek) as wrestling is to rednecks as soap operas are to housewives.
Not that there's anything wrong with that. Obviously I wouldn't come to this forum if I didn't like the gossip as much as the next 16 yr old with a crush on Jean. I'm just naming it what it is and making a general plea for a little more depth. Lets get past the id for a little while. You don't give your audience EVERYTHING they think they want.
And if anybody tries to call me a hypocrite for not being down with the whole emma/scott thing...I've got ninja stars, and I...I'm sure I could figure out how to use them....They're just paper, but ya know. It'd hurt some if I got your eye or something.
