this might sound stuipd to the rest of you but i just couldnt think of any better idea for a good movie like high tension i just think it diserves to have a sequal. so marie killed all those people cause she got split personality but of course we know split personality is usually created in someone due to a tramatic event the sequal could go like this

as she's in the mental hospital we see as they ask her about her early life she talks about her dad a worker who we find out is her split personality, he spoiled marie all her life, but he was unhappy cause maries mother was a total witch, anyway maries dad starts hateing women they are the impetimy of his problems since the wife is a ***** and chicks say things about him (why i dont know you could think of something later maybe cause the mom and him only got married cause of marie being concieved thus the chicks in town say ugly shit about him how she is so unlucky to have such a fat pig for a husband) anyway he eventually snaps and kills his annoying ***** of a wife, he hides her and tells marie that she went on a trip suddenly a rash of other disapearences happen entires familes being murdered by someone really violent, just some really violent deaths via high tension eventually marie finds out about what her dad's been doing via freddy kruger part five, though not that way exactly, but yeah sorta like that in that she finds his little playpen of mutilated and horribly tortured women, maybe even one still alive tied to the chair with barb wire, she'd hide and he'd come in talking about how this chick is a stuipd ***** and **** and she could never loev a pig like him could she and she'd probably beg to be let go and he'd say something like ok tell me you love me and then she'd be like i love you via high tension she'd get a kiss then her throat slit.

ok, im not going to be a dick and tell you, bad idea, but i am going to say this.

i saw High Tension, i didnt like it for the most part, but i watched it 4 times just to make sure.

the chance of them making a 2nd one, is very unlikely, unless they are already, in which case they better find good actors for it.

Stupid idea to make a sequel and hope it never happens.

Haute Tension was excellent though.

what you talking about im just giving an idea, im not a director or producer, and why the other guy saying its a bad idea if he never even liked the movie, if you all have better idea for a would be sequal then id loveeeeeeee to hear them

No ideas from me because a sequel doesn't need to be made, or wanted imo.

im not saying it needs to be made but some stories diserve a good sequal GOOD being the underlined word

just cause something is GOOD. its doesnt mean it needs to be ruined by a shitty sequel.

i mean man it tells you everything, Good movies dont deserve to be ruined by a cheap ass writter, because most of the time thats what happened sekuels are written by different persons of the original movie

i thought the first was garbage. i didnt like the whole "this is real" thing they were trying to portray, didnt quite sit well with me. the second one, if it were a film on its own or if it was supposed to be the first one. it was much better.

id rather have crappy acting and shitty story, than crappy acting and shitty story being passed off as real

I liked High Tension. I think Maiwenn Le Besco is hot and a good actress. There is absolutely no need to do a sequel.

The original is a very solid horror film aside from the joke of an ending.

A sequel is not needed.

what i'd like to know is, at the start when they get to the girls house and meet her family, was the fat guy just seeing this in his head, or did the girl bring home the fat guy????

i think he was just seeing it in his head... but i could be wrong, it wouldnt be the first time.

there was no fat guy, the girl was the fat guy in her head he was a split personality persona

well yeah i know it was split personality, but there are things that couldnt have happend, and it just bugged me is all.

It WOULD, be a good idea, if they had better writers for the Sequal.
BUT, if it gets made it WONT be good, due to the fact it has alot to make up for with the first one.

i think you missed the fact that you asking if anyone thinks your sequal idea is good, you need to accept that some majority don't even appreciate the original. and, thus, they expressed their intent on halting any shitty sequal to a shitty movie.

but, me, personally; i have never seen the film in question. but in pure judgment of your synopsis, i decree that it is a crappy idea.

i didnt like puppet master 2, but i loved 1,3,4,5,6, and HATED 7.

you didnt like evil dead but liked evil dead 2? i thought part 2 was silly and over comedic and so was army of darkness i thought part one should never have had a sequal

Your ending sucks by the way, it's like an ending in one of those direct to DVD releases.

You know the kind of movie where you look at the cover and can instantly tell the movie is sh*t.

yeah well if you take away from the ending the movie is still good.
