Let's see how many of Jack's quotes we can get on here...copying and pasting from the script is allowed....and post a screen cap if you have one...


I'll start...the very first words I ever heard uttered by jack/johnny still get me excited...once I realized I was in love with Johnny and he became this larger than life man to me...I would replay this scene over and over and just listen to the sexy sound of his voice...even though I knew of Johnny ...i never watched not one of his movies until I saw Pirates...and then I was hooked....

"Let's make it three schillings and forget the name"....LOVE this...

and the harbor master replies "Welcome to Port Royal, Mr. Smith"..
I love Jack's little bow with his praying hands..which is a natural reaction of Johnny..his gracious, thank you reaction....so sexy..

It's not a quote, but that zoom out of Jack looking so dignified sailing in to Port Royal on the top of the mast of that boat.... and then we see that he has to be doing that; it's sinking.

i love the conversation he has with Murtogg and Mullroy...
one of my favorite scenes from COTBP...when they are arguing about the Black Pearl being real or not and Jack slips past them onto the Interceptor.....

Omg I'm loving this thread, I think it's because I have seen both movies soo many times, I can quote them both LOL!

I love the part when Murtogg and Mullroy are arguing, Jack sticks his tongue down into his gums and rolls his eyes and just sort of... sidles... out of view. I laughed really loudly the first time I saw that, I think then it just hit me what sort of character Jack was the first time I watched CotBP. That moment is so genius!

I love all of his confusing and complicated lines. The ones that make him want to kill the writers lol.

Can we include expressions and gestures? I love that thing he does with his tongue when he meets Mr. Cotton. He must have a vivid imagination because he really looks freaked out by the missing tongue.

Well if you want to talk about gestures, one of my favorite gestures in DMC is the part when he says "my compass works fine." I love his gesture and the way he says it.

In The Brwons blacksmith's shop after he asked Will "You're not a eunuch are you?" then he makes a disgusted kinda face then looks down at will you know whats.

LOL if we're doing face motions/gestures I'd say the look he gives lizzie in their first scene in DMC when Norri says "u don't actually believe him do u?" and he looks at her like "plz believe me!"
