Not really it's time Buffy wasconsigned to what it is. A decent show from the eighties which ran put of ideas at the end of series 3 and was milked for 4 more seasons. It was innovativebut is now dated. Move on Joss I say! Firefly was better anyway, shame it was axed!

It was in the nineties. And I'd say the series SHOULD have ended at Season Five.

And Season Six sucked (Season Seven was a little better; great final battle).

But we want more Buffy dammit!

yes ninety six, did I sat eighties, brainfart. Also Gellar went off the boil after 3 (she got to thin and looked ill) and Angel left. It was never the same again. Willow became a Les etc. etc. season 4 and Adam was shit. Nah, 3 is when it should have ended.

Buffy should never have ended, you're both insane!



I read the first 6 or so pages of this new comic .... somewhere online, they've already retconned Buffy's relationship with "The Immortal"

I don't know why they made Willow a lesbian. There was never ANY indication she was a lesbian. Half of season four was her crying over Oz. I stand by the theory that black magic altered her genetic structure and made her gay. That sounds logical.

Adam WAS boring. But Glory is one the best villains in the series IMO.

And they retconned Andrew somehow turning straight. I guess it was a tongue-cheek reference to Willow suddenly turning gay. Andrew was obviously gay but apparently he turned straight in Angel. But Whedon said it was a prank. Oh well.

I hope Anya comes back. The Big Bad of Season Eight is obviously BUNNIES!!!!

They were. But Vemp Willow was just wild not lesbian. She had to be lesbian as Alfheim said stereotyping for witches.

Plus Vamp Willow was dating Vamp Xander (and Angel...kinda of) in the "Wish" episode.

huh... to be honest i hated the last few seasons of buffy, primarily for buffy herself... the amount of times watching that show when i just wanted to smack her...

Buffy kinda went back to her roots in Season Seven (but she was kinda arrogant alot...)

I never read Angel comics so i don't know. Geller had got rough by season 7 as well.

Angel and his allies all survived somehow (except Wesley of course...) No specifics as of yet.

I hope to see more of Illyria though.

which sucks... though her death episode was, imo, probably the best buffy or angel episode i've ever seen... it was as close to perfect as whedon could get imo...

the final episode was good too though... brilliant undertones throughout...

I never really understood the whole Amy thing in Season 7 and now her position in Season 8. What's with all this raise my army of undead all of a sudden.

Kennedy should die.

Amy is jealous of Willow for some reason. Which really doesn't make sense since it was Willow that made Amy human again after being trapped for years as a rat.

Never had a problem with Kennedy. She seems like Faith-lite.

Really? I couldn't stand Kennedy and Rona. Everytime Rona opened her mouth I wanted to slap her and Kennedy's just too bossy for me.

I liked Annabelle, too bad she died in her first appearance.

i'm really pleased with the way marvel's been taking chances with creative property. first the dark tower comic, now this...whatever happened to the dark tower comic, anyway?

Actually I remember reading somewhere that if Angel had gone on for another season Whedon would have brought Willow in to restore Fred so I guess they would have revealed that Illyria was just b/sing the whole her soul was destroyed thing. Either that or Willow would have gotten powerful enough to create/recreate a soul.

It would be on a separate plane from Buffy, but having said that we are planning on having Spike and Angel appear in the arc."
