I got this idea from playing the aforementioned game.

Following his death at the hands of the Deadly Alliance, Liu is entered in the Eternal Champions tournament.

If Liu wins the tournament, then he will be returned back to his time and avoid getting killed by Shang Tsung and Quan Chi (and also save his friends from the same fate).

Should he lose, then Liu is pretty much screwed.

Liu looses to the EC boss, most definitely. That damn thing doesn't die.(F**KIN cheater)

Xavier comes out, anal probes lui, trident ugly ass masturbates using his...trident and the 3 points explode off into lui back, head and spinal area...and technically he's screwed...then a screen pops with ryu holding a cardboard up saying ..."LONG LIVE GENESIS(FK YOU MORTAL KOMBAT STAFF...FK'N SPOTLIGHT SNATCHERS"...game over pretty much after that if you could inhale into your cartridge enough to play the damn thing in the first place(a fight such as old as this belongs 16 bit..32 in some cases)
