Can the High Evolutionary beat Thor?

This partially happened already. HE got the best of Thor, but it was through a blindsided attack..

Hercules did beat the crap out of HE in avenger annual.
HE was outclass both physically and Psionically by hercules

Galactus had trouble with High E I believe he would be more then enough.

High E provoked Hulk to smash him. Thor nearly as strong as Hulk shouldn't have a problem beating HE

I agree, but High E went insane when the Beyonders were goin to move Counter Earth. Thor has done 'ok' vs Celestials. Goin with Thor

Thor had no effect on the Celestials they only really noticed Thor until he used his strongest weapon aka God Force to the brain and he only barely felt it. Celestials would destroy Thor in a second. They would destroy Odin with little effort.

High Evolutionary is pretty much Immortal since his Armor would protect him by any means necessary. source wikipedia

I agree. I admire Celestials. Thor is the only one to combat them. They will hurt Odin again. Thor/Odin/Asgardians don't challenge Celestials. Tiamut is waiting to judge

Thor was not even worthy or powerful enough to mess with any celestial. Not Rune King Thor Odin and Zeus could mess with a Celestial.

HE wins. To those saying he was beaten by Herc. What incident are you referring to? It had better not be the one from the Avengers arc "The Evolutionary War" because Herc was amped by HE own tech!

The Hulk fiasco was a suicidal HE that wasn't trying to fight back and was actually going against his own armor in trying to help the Hulk kill him. He reformed from paste as if nothing happened and was more determined than ever to continue with his plans.

i find it funny how everytime thor is outclassed in a fight you can see always the same people voting for thor but they will never give actual reasons to how is he going to win they will just say thor and thumb up to each other up the a$$, while the people who vote for the other guy always got a legit and good reasoning to why thor would get his ass kicked

Has too many options to win, HE imo has to many poor showings to say he takes for a majority.

I honestly have no clue. He could stomp Thor, or he could get stomped by Thor and neither outcome would surprise me.

it would depend on which incarnation of thor this is...plus just how determined HE is at the time. Honestly its a toss up

Pretty much.

It all goes back to feats vs portrayal vs power set. The thing that makes it tough to debate against Thor in most battles is that his fans can pretty much "feat" their way through any debate. You name it, Thor probably has a feat for it. Having said that, his portrayal on average is a little more even leveled (thanks in large part to Busiek), so one has to find a balance.
