AOR
Yesterday during my lunch period, we were escorted towards the gym for a debrief on what circulated to be another mishap in the biology lab. What happened next was so astonishing, I'm going to have to ask the old and feeble, pregnant women, weak of heart and Vinny to leave the thread.
So they told us several kids reacted critically to a certain unknown chemical and were hospitalized immediately. They were going to locate the threat and neutralize, but due to a difference of opinion, decided to let us standout in the sun (it was windy, so it was cool). Well, being the "wonderful" senior class that they are, one of the seniors calls every conceivable news team to come and report the incident. We get, not one, not two, but three HELICOPTERS!!! We're moved by the teachers and staff into the stadium where we were instructed to perform the wave. Finally we were taken to a neighboring Church where those with keys on them were allowed to go home. All others had to wait for their parents to pick them up.
I got home early, played Sims 3000, and went to sleep. My excuse for not doing my homework: My books are being quarantined.
P.S. the last part (going home early) was alright. But the whole laughing, not taking the situation seriously, teachers getting kids to do the wave for the cameras while some kids are getting hospitalized made me do this all day------>
I dunno, maybe it's me. But (for those who have read the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn) I think no one else saw the irony between Bogs being shot and the chemical leak in the lab. Nothing is sacred, well at least not in my school...
