Ares is above both of them...

I know that Thanos is powers varies from having trouble with Thor but yet stood toe to toe with Odin. But Thanos at his best was tough enough to outsmart the Elders Galactus Inbetweener and the Rigellians. He is a warrior who destroyed the most powerful army in the universe Ovin army at his best is immortal and vastly powerful. He is like Juggernaut without the telepathy weakness. He has survived being inside a black hole blasts from Galactus and he was smart enough to clone a superior version of Galactus.

And Ares is a GOD, a true god, and beyond petty mortal qualms like superheroing, or fighting other beings. If you attack Ares with violence or even THINK a violent thought against him, you only empower him and make him stronger. Also any "conflicts" (i.e. personal) you have or have been involved with makes him stronger too. Oh, and Ares can alter reality.

Something try reality alter on Thanos and didn't work. Ares is above superheroing or fighting other beings. yet he was a major enemy of Wonder Woman and he also took over DC earth right. Thanos killed everybody on Titan millions without fighting. ares is the god of War he should be a warrior just like Thanos is. Thanos is feared and hated threw out the Marvel Universe.

When Zeus and Odin fought it sent ripples threw the Marvel Multiverse Thats power

what about this feat Ares once killed highfather, and he is one of the few being to escape from the source wall under his own power. if you don't already know highfather is considered darkseid equal

Ares is a behind the scenes villain.

He has never gone to toe toe with WW. Not any time I can recall anyway.

Why does a God have to be a warrior?

Thanos knocked Galactus on his ass and then dropped a planet with on top of him with explosives and left Galactus drained and on his ass. Thanos may have been able to kill Galactus If he had tryed. Did Ares have prep in any of those feats?

you do know that Ares is the god of death,conflict, and war right in the dc the gods power increases greatly depending on how people react to that god job and ares hit the jackpot. there are wars and conflict everwhere and the same can be said for people who die

All I am saying Thanos is not going down easy.
